Dear friends I have a little question. When I write MMS and make video it only allows 95K 9:00 secs video where as I had N73 and it took arround 22 secs 220K video. I tried to search and correct settings but could not find it.
Any help would be highly appreciated...

hey,all p990 user ,who know how to put the artis pic in the media player?during playing music player the left hand side got a disc cover ,i saw at www.youtube.com and search p990 ,u can see the p990 can view it during media player .so anyone know how to put it ?

so the key is the CDA...!
but I'm not bought my phone from service provider, it means my phone is UNBRANDED, I think the key word of the upgrading problem is the CDA.

Hi everyone! My p990i has a low sound volume although I've set it to the loudest, is this normal? I think the p910i has a louder volume than this? Thanks.

FIRMWARE UPGRADE INFO FOR ALL P990i
Just to inform you guys who been having problems upgrading your phone. During my venture to find answers regarding bugs issue on the P990i. I stubble across this web site which list all the firmware version with respect to where the phone was manufactured worldwide.
So, if you bought your phone from a service provider (branded) your phone might not upgrade. The firmware update version R9 is only for most world phone (unbranded).
Take a look. I hope this answer most of the problems with upgrading issue.

Hey guys, is it possible to display the album cover art on the music player instead of seeing the picture of the cd in a square?
Also, is there a way to manually set and personalize the equalizer presets? or to create a new equalizer preset? Ive read in other posts its possible, so im curious.

I have good news and bad news 4 u..
I have try to download from UK site..the good news is YES(as you predict)..i am not losing anything(infact i get the quadra back)...BUT the BAD NEWS is I AM STILL GOT R7...YES!! I STILL GOT THE BIG "R" SEVEN...this is the detail:

I have had this phone for around 3 months now.
There are 2 bad points about it.
1) the size (Mind you I did buy it with my eyes open, but the size gets bigger on you with every passing moment, and the new tiny phones comeing out)
2) The need for this phone to reset to "Improve Performance" while I am in a call.
Apart from that this phone is perfect for everything, from business to personal, the only sad thing is the lack of carrying cases made for the P990i...
Move over Rover, man has a new best friend...

The flash memory card you imply seem to me is incompatible with the P990i. P990i uses Sony Memory Stick up to 4GB Max. It is different then SD Card (Secure Digital Memory Card) or perhaps your wording is incorrect.
Anyway, if you are using Sony Memory Stick, then here is what you can to do. First make sure all your images and audio files you have are compatible with the P990i.
Here are some of the media file extensions that is compatible with the P990i.
Image:

Assuming you have a Multi-Memory Cards reader.
- Insert the Memory Stick to card reader.
- Create a temporary folder anywhere on Computer.
- Copy everything from the Memory Stick to that folder.
- Take your Memory Stick out of card reader
- Then put the memory stick into phone.
- With Flip Open go to > Main Menu > Tools > File manager
- Click on the tab with a picture of a flash memory card in front of a yellow folder locate under the word “File manager”.
- Click on “File Manager” (Locate on top screen) > Device > select Format Memory Stick.
- Once the format process completed. Exit everything and take your Memory Stick out of your phone.
***Note: After you’ve use the phone to format the Memory Stick it will, by default, create a series of folders as follow:
* Picture
* Music
* Video
* Document
* Other
- Now insert your Memory Stick into the card reader and move any files you want to the appropriate folder on the Memory Stick.
That it, once you are done just reinsert the Memory Stick back into the phone and you can see everything on it using “File Manager”
Now if you don’t have a card reader then you must have your phone connected to the PC using a USB data cable and the P990i PC Suite Utility installed on you PC. (It come with the Phone on a CD.) This will enable you to transfer all files between your phone and PC.
Once you have install the PC Suite Utility you will be able to browse the phone files structures just as if you would on any CD-ROM or Harddrive using “Windows Explorer”

ahm..i think this one is more cool than the P910i or P900..this is the new great gadget...i have P800 before and thats nice to use..i think thats much better...

i know someone can help...i just got my p990 and i need to get my pics from my SE z800 onto this, its saved onto the sd card, also i need to know how to transfer songs, pics, files from my comp to my phone. if i put the sd card from my old phone into the p990 it wont allow me to open or view them...i know someone has the answer to this, please help me. reply back or email me, thanks.
