Hi, I read all the specifications of P990i and its my No. 1 choice, however there is 1 problem that I want to clarify, can I send and receive faxes through my GSM number? thanks a lot.

What you said made sense. But the thing is I use MAC so all the things I download on my phone are through Bluetooth & they go directly to my Mem. Card. There are no themes on my Phone Memory as I've deleted some of 'em.
I tried to download the theme I was trying to download on my phone & it worked (without me having to delete stuff)

Ali,
My theory is when you download the themes using your phone it goes directly to your phone memory not the memory stick by default. Even if you place the themes on the memory stick and load it using the phone it will also load it into the phone internal memory. Eventually it will fill up the phone internal memory. I think what you can try is deleting some of the themes from phone memory and load only the ones you wanted. I have tried on mine and it seem to load the theme to the internal memory of the phone only.

Hi,
Plannin to buy 990i need some basic info on apps like notes and pdf/doc viewer.
I basically need to view some ms doc files and pdf files when i'm the move for my official work.
Also I maintain lot of txt files on my usb disk like support steps and other notes.
My question is if i have 4gb card and store all my txt files from my pc to phone will i be able to open/edit these files on phone. also what abt msword files can i have .doc viewer. i know pdf+ is inbuilt but what is the max file size anyone has tried opening for pdf file.
Hope to use this pda for business use so my urgent doc/txt/pdf files for tech support are available.
Also what is current price in india and what is warranty period provided.
Any help/insight on this will be appreciated.

I have downloaded a couple of games recently, but when I install them, they go into the tools menu, rather than the games?? is there a way to move them over??

Well The R9 is working good so far, its been 2 days installed since, se has made some changes people having p 990i pls update the software im sure half of the problems will be solved.

anyone know when/if vodafone uk is going to ok the latest firmware, I want to update to R9. I have looked into debranding, but it means my warranty will be void.

Hi All,
I just have a question, why is it that sometimes when I download themes to my phone, it says "Not Enough Memory". I do have A LOT of memory on my phone as I have 4GB Mem. Stick Pro Duo. I can download some themes & they're fine...
Does anybody know the reason why to this matter?

i downloaded the current firmware from UK SE website. try doing that. i think thats where u r going wrong probably. u should not lose anything downloading this. if u lose anything, write me back, i will email u all the themes and stuff.

1)I download update software from US link
2)then i run it...I follow every single step verry CAREFULLY
it goes smooth..and...then...I STILL GOT R7!!!...and some app is GONE!!(like 3D golf, DEMO and QUADRA..not to mention the 3 standart themes..and some standart picture file)its really gets on my nerve...so i run the PROCEDURE ONCE MORE...THANK GOOD GOD!!they're all back(except for quadra..which i can download on the SE site later)..BUT I AM STILL GOT R7....yu..hu!!knock! knock! where did i get wrong? anyone? please..

1- pair the bluetooth device click on bluetooth then
pair device with pass key
2-Now Here shows the windows with Com 1 Com 2
3-As u told u r using Xp then go in control pannel
make a new connection connect to internet
then setup manually connect using dialup modem
connection name password (What the connection)
u r using seting requires so set that all u also can ask to ur network
now u can use Via Bluetooth

Hi people,
I have the P990i and have the latest software on it. The problem that I am having is that I cannot sync via Bluetooth and use the phone as a bluetooth modem. I have Widdows XP and have to use the USB cable everytime I need to sync. Can someone please tell me step by step on how to configure the M router to used a cable and bluetooth conection and set up network wizard to use the blue tooth modem
your help is greatly appreceited.
