For all you guys in the UK waiting for this phone, it's available now from Vodafone stores. My husband got a great deal today in Nottingham. It's on charge now so cannot comment about the actual phone yet!

first of all who says that phone is slo and hard to use? i have this baby since 12 hours and it works fine damm cool. i tested it continuesly for 9 hours and not a single problem. system is very easy to use. i am a big nokia fan but this time se wins. phone is more faster then nokias series60. only two minus points is that resolution is cool but not so colourfull like my nokia E61. and audio level is quite low at the maximum set. after all beside this two phne is amazing. i bought it in india at ahemadabad at RS. 35000. and it is totally PAISA VASUL.....

Is great set lot of software lot of Features
Features to our thoughts cant go now tell the time has changed What is the main diffirence in P-910i or in P990

I will not sale my P-910i
But also will not get P-990
Now looking for the new model after P-990
in my opinion the peoples who already is using P-910i not have to get P-990
Otherwise P-990 is Bad set but only missing some features

Anybody out there who has already an idea about next SE P-series or after P990? I know P990 has just released, but on the part of NOKIA, even before the release of N73 and N93, I've seen already a picture of next N-series of N83. I'm a fan of SE P-series and fortunately I previous owned P800, P900 and currently using P910i. I'm still hesitant to switch to P990 as I read some negative comments on P990. It is already available in Saudi Arabia (but too expensive)at Sony Center and expected to be available this week through different mobile phone stores which I'm sure price is lower than in Sony Center. I'm planning to swap my P910i shortly.

I just recently bought the P990i and I actually really like it. Pro's of the are, battery life, loudness of both ear and speaker phone, signal stability, touch screen, wi-fi, camera takes really good pictures, and more. The cons that i've noticed: kind of slow, screen could use more pixels, browser hard to use, system is hard to use, feels very plastic (doesn't feel solid or worth 800 to 1000 dollars), and flimsy number pad. ALl in all, I'll give it a 8.0 out of 10, but it definitely needs a serious firmware update.

This is the best PDA phone so far, like the guy below me, still wondering if other guys complaining P990's bugs got a fone with a unfinalized firmware. it's because unfinalized firmware is full of annoying bugs and everything crashes. as i have tested in it's beta firmware demo. got mine for many weeks ago, working so nice and doesn't hang or crashes like what others complain, i think the one to be blame is the seller, not the manufacturer, they sell it a very high price and they fool other people that the firmware is finalized while the truth is that it is NOT, for those who complains, better upgrade the firmware, for sure it wont crash anymore..

dont understand all the negative response about the SE P990i. Got mine 2 weeks ago in NYC USA. I tried everything on the phone and it works flawless. phone hasent crashed yet. maybe all the people with bad reviews got a bad phone. This is one of the best phone/pda I have purchased so far.

hi ive just got my p990i upgrade from p910. Ive got to say im quite dissapointed first thing youll notice they have changed the jog dail from 5d to 3d you cant push it up and down any more you can only dail it it up and down and push it in. i have tried to connect to the internet and found it is impossible on my machine it crashes everytime i open opera. not impressed at all. i would rather have a new 910 instead.

this phone is overrated.
SE lost his quality in this phone.
I just hope they can fix those bugs very soon.
However, I don't think it just software issue
I used for a mothn.

software format sis for all P-series
AND
Windows operating Mobiles exe format
but not works the Pc files thats only for Mobiles

P990i is one of the best smart phones, it is even better than the other PDA phones here in Japan.

This is a pathetic phone. its too big and the screen size is smaller than its older PDA phones. iyts soo big, i cant even hold it.

I just get my P990 in sg, have been waited for so long and once it launch, DESTROY my old phone and grab P990. Everything is so...... nice. Wow!!

got this phone yesterday its kick ass got it for 35000 thousand thats 760dollars in india.
