This phone's released in Pak price Rs 60,000 but nokia N73 is'nt a bad choice especially with 3D sound speakers & half the price.N93 is also worth considering if going for non-bar one.

I just ordered my P990i from singtelshop.com @ S$1,388 without contract (you get $30 discount between 12-6am but the server would be so slow that it's probably not worth waiting) - can't wait for it to arrive on Wednesday! It's a birthday present to myself - my birthday was last month, but I forced myself to wait till P990i goes on sale - thought the day will never come, but now it has. I got my P990 for $960 CDA, I used to be a PPC freak, cause they all use Windows CE.
But I personally prefer the symbian OS on my P990i. it is v user friendly, the OS is quiet fast, camera is great, and WIFI is simply superb. I agree that the QWERTY is farly small. However,It's still much better than typing w/stylus on the screen. On my old HP PPC , that was a pain on the butt. PLus P990 is much smaller than all PPC on the market.
As far as the keyboard, I belive that it is a matter of time to get used to it. Buttom line, If you are PDA freack, The P990 is the best one so far in the market. It's worth every penny!!

nows the front camera cant take picture seems to be real , certain user already mention it, does P990 really cant do it? wat the big disappointment!

zubair.. i really wouldnt trust a deal like that..sounds too good to be true. i always ask them if its available for pickup instead..usually if they say no its a bogus transaction. i would pay the higher price for piece of mind.

Dear People,
I have seen many people on net selling this mobile phone only worth $200-$250.I contacted such people.....they told that they will ship the mobile from Africa?????I am now supposed to do the payment to them so that they can deliver me this mobile.Now please all people if you have done trade or met such people......then please tell me that i should do the payment or not as i am very confused whether to trust them or not???Please help me out guys....Reply fast please....

thank for tell me that detials , lastly i want to know the front camera can capture a picture or only use as 3G only ,because i hear somebody complaints it only can making video call only ,it will a big disappointed ,hope the user try the function see whether can take pic or not.

I have one now. Bought it in Auckland NZ. It has a Swedish Manual but it was cheap. Its good. The video freezes during full screen playback which is a shame because its so damn good and the keyboard is a little small.I love the os. However that new htc looks good. But it will be a long time before I get one of those.

While I am sure the is no P1000 out there right now... I wish there was. The P990 seems a bit dated hurried to the market (after a 10 mth delay) with very poor engineering (bad key pads - qwerty and number pad)...
I am wondering if anyone knows about Nokias planned succesor to the Communicator series 9300 / 9500.

I've had mine for 3 days now and man I waited 10 months for this thing, is it worth the wait and $1050 canadian? probably not.
the phone is nice, and the camera is a beauty. but the keypad is tiny, it's awkward with the flip on and less functional with it off. not enough apps for it yet and the os looks nice but too complicated and time comsuming to use with one hand on the go. maybe i'm too used to my old palm treo 650. I would give it a 7/10 stars. maybe it'll change to 8/10 after i get better apps on it and get used to it. i better it cost me $1050 large!

Feed back on P990I
I've been owing the P990 for 2 days now! and its working great!! no issues so far at all .. the OS is very fast no bugs, fingers crossed, WIFI working great, and the camera takes damn sharp pictures... Sound quality is excellent( but i prefer nokia N91 sounds better). the scrren resolution is brilliant.
The only drawback is the QWERT keyboard,I was surprised when I opned the flip, the buttons are fairly small for my big fingers.. It'll take sometime to get used them. Other than that, the phone wort every penny, Moreover , its turning heads whenever i use it , especially here in Canada, this beauty would never see the sun here!

can any p990i user tell me, what exactly is the big problem with this phone ,is this phone performance so disappointed,and add that i hear somebody said the second camera cant use to take picture ! is this true about those thing i mention it?can any user tell me please! thank you.
