Hi P990i owners! Just want to know is it possible to record FM radio broadcast with your P990i? Also, if possible is the recording in wav file or mp3 format, etc?

I got my SE P990i since Thursday.
I'm upset and utterly disappointed with my P990i, so buggy . . . Sony Ericsson took so long to release it and yet, still so buggy !
When I select Contact, the first press is always a Number and not an Alphabet, why ??? It doesnt make sense. I have to clear the number and press again to get the alphabet. I dont search my contact book by number, who's clever idea is this ???
T9, when i tried to type NO by pressing key 6 twice, it got words like Monday first instead of ON or NO. Stupid T9 too smart for its own good, i have to scroll down like 5 or 6 other words to get the word NO.
Read and Unread SMS have the same icon ??? WTF !!!
And the biggest problem, mRouter is connected but PC Suite keep displaying Not Connected. What is the point if I cant sync my stuff ??? Aaaaaaargh . . .
I did a Master Reset, remove all SE s/w in my PC, restart couple of times. After reinstallation, PC Suite works again, but I dont know how long it will last . . .

hey guys, im buying a SE p990 today for 1450 us dollars in pakistan. this fone is really roking. i am waiting when will p1000 will come..LOL(just kidding) i was absolutely confused between the N93 and P990 but then later i thought that n93 is more of a camera(3mp cam,, 3x optical etc.) and p990 has a nice camera, pda functions,wifi,uiq 3 etc. so p990 can be used as a pda and normal fone with the flip closed. so i thought had its better to buy digicam or handycam instead of n93 but it was my point of view! every people use fones for diferent views!! so i think people should critise a fone for its general flaws and specialities.!

I finally made up my mind.. after many long nites of reading the reviews & feedback, I'm gonna buy the Nokia E70, i should be getting it buy wednesday, and it's only $ 429 US, vs $ 1000 P 990i. Plus the E70 has the VOIP over WLAN, I use Skype lots, so that's a plus for me, and the screen is much more brilliant and crisspier than the P990i.
I love Nokia. Keep the great job up

Here we go .... i was waiting to see somebody complaining about the P990.... u should be nuts to spend over 1 grand US on new device full of bugs ... if it was reasonably priced (From$ 600 to $ 700).. after all the wait.. I'd have consdidered buying it.. but now i'm really turned off to buy this plastic outdated phone.

I live in New York City. And this phone is imposible to find in regular cell/mobile phone stores. But T-Mobile is offering its service for this phone. I have busy life and 65% of my work is done over the phone. I also need to check my email when i am on to go. This phone seems to have all those features but price for that phone is more then expensive. It reaches up to $1000.
Where do i get it for cheap, and should i get it for my business?
And what kind of phone do u recomand for business man that really need to use their phone a lot (check emails, send emails, sound records, sending documents and faxes).

just got my p990i yesterday. it really sucks! hangs a lot, freezes & very slow!

Can any one tell me if this phone supports "Microsoft Office Outlook"? This will be a decisive factor for me to purchase this phone. On the specification mentions "Office application" but I can not find anywhere about the Outlook. They mention Word, Excel and pdf files only.
I will appreciate if anyone knows to let me know. Thanks

Here is the Update from Dubai on the delivery of the P990i(Delivery for all those who have made the pre-order booking).The Latest news is the delivery is scheduled for September 2nd,a postponement from the earlier dates of August 14th,August 21st,August 28th.........i am surprised and dejected....SE if you are listening..I can get a Boeing 747 made and delvered for the time you guys have taken...i have lost hope and slowly losing interest in the phone.

P800 is a retired phone, but you are wrong when you say it's not comparable to others. The P800 and P910 are only different by a few points: Outer casing, resolution, camcorder application, and keyboard. This is the exact reason why I didn't upgrade it to P910 in the first place. And by talking about P800 I was talking about the symbian UIQ line in general, and again, everything else except what I have listed is the same for both P910 and P800. To be honest, if you don't even know this much, you need to do a lot more research before buying your next phone.

Well it is available...and with slight software bugs..but over all an awsome phone...no big carriers ( O2, Voda Phone) have it beca they still consider it as it have a lot of software bugs..but well i donot think so..i am using it and it is perfect..beautiful interface...feature packed. WIFI works Perfect,2 MP autofocus Camera, Internal QWERTY keypad is useable unlike P91o beca it lights up and its placing inside makes it very easy to use,rejecting call with a text message is something new. and the legendry features of P9xx series..
i got mine for 983$ USD from www.sntradersonline.com. and it came with 2 GB Card ( paid a bit more for this)...but over all i am one of the first to have it..and it is in Full Retail box. and they shipped me real fast...i donot know why it is still not available in many areas and how in canada they had it since last week.

UK fans, orange might have it in their stores by saturday next week or wednesday next week! so watch out for this. Also on orange web site they will not e-mail you when the phone is out...this option does not work!! aahhhh

Hi All
This set is not avail in the market so how the SE is saying thats avail i think so SE only said that for their users not go to for any other brand Not avial in Orange not avail in O2 so its mean thats still not avail in the market
And the people who r trying to compare this to Nokia S60 thats the thinking of peoples in my thinking thats not possible to compare with UiQ to Ui

i think ppl who claim themselve nokia fans or se fans are very stupid, don't you buy phone to suit your needs, or you guys are blind just buy phones because of the brand?
