They want it to last as long as the stated spec.
Much longer then others PDA phones.

the screen resolution is very nice and hight quility
and i can play mp3's in the best quility
still i can not believe that finally i buy this phone.
i hope u buy this phone soon
oh i must say that the applications is very powerful and haven't any problems

Wow it's surprised; maybe SE sales in Iran is higher than another country? You're right, the price is over. Economical law. Now we are waiting for our friend review.

sony ericsson p990i is for sale here in tehran, iran earlier than anywhere else. the price is very high due to low quantity and being new. it is about usd 1025!!! but it is true. finaly se releasees it's long awaited handset for very first time in tehran. this is amazing. i may wait a bit for price drop, since it is not the real retail price.

I think this phone is the best thing that ever came with the symbian OS and it's worth waiting for.
Nokia, jam, 02 can't compare to the P990
and to the guy from sony, can we rely on your aug. date?

Hope that so long waiting,we can get the best quality. For friends that have used M600, can M600 send&receive fax? That's a question from M600 forum but until now no one answer that question. Thanks

are you kidding me with that keyboard comment? the p990's screen is wider than the 910's and only like 3mm shorter. We'll actually be able to use this qwerty unlike the flimsy flip board on the p910. Great move on SE's part.
Not making a p990a with 850 band for USA... BAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDD MOVE.

WHy the keyboard - it's a stylus phone - some options don't even work with the keyboard - guys, you just kill important screen space for no value - dumb.

guyz,..admit it or not this phone is the best smartphone to offer you complete in a pack features, no nokia n93,n80,or palm or HTC can beat overall performance,graphical user interface, writing input and etc. of the P990, even though nokia makes n93 that features everything,
will it be easy for a people especially business people to use it(n93) using a non touchscreen interface of the crashing 9.1 s60 3rd editon?
for me all nokia n-series are nothing compared to P990 it's just wifi/g,3mp cam, and etc put in that phone in order to hide it's difficulties in everything, nokia already has UIQ phone, why they insist using s60 which always makes stupid crashes in your programs? makes battery drained fast? and makes more annoying viral attacks and etc. than this UIQ phone and Pocke PCs?
No phone in this world today can beat P990 overall performance for sure.

Tried the Symbian 9 UIQ 3 OS on the m600.... Very impressive. definite an upgrade from the earlier version on my p900...

Hi, There is a good news for Singapore SE supporters. The phone will be out from end of jul to beginning of Aug this year. This had been confrim from the SE sales Rep. The phone had been sent to IDA for checking before been release to SG.

I've been waiting too long already. I'm tired of waiting any longer. The P990 is not so great anyways. Will switch to Nokia or Palm instead. I'm still ticked that it has been over a year already since it's announcement.

is there any such feature that we can fax any document from the handset without connecting to the pc. and is there a fax modem in the handset.
