Who is the idiot that compare N91 with P990?
You cant compare the MEDIOCRE nokia Symbian Series 60 OS with the excellent UiQ.
UiQ is the best OS for phones, S60 is buggy and slow and ridiculous.
N80, N91, N93 and all N series cant compete with P990 because; first of all, the OS.
UiQ is a lot better than S60 in features, in easy of use, logical, in personalization, reliability and etc.
This is the fact, nokia makes thousands of symbian S60 phones, all suffers the same problems: slowest operation, lots of bugs; while SE onle have 3 Symbian UiQ models and one more to be released (P990), this phones are pretty perfect.
SE search the user satisfaction, all SE phones have excellent characteristics and P990 isnt the exception.
For me P990 is the best phone ever, nothing more.

the sony ericsson p990 symbian phone is i think the boss of all the symbian phones.nokia is struggling to make phone like p990 but its impossible for them to make such wonderful phone.one thing i wana share with all the people that there is lot of differenc in the material of nokia phones and the sony ericsson.nokia phones are like toys its material is too bad and of low quality while the sony ericsson material is unbeleable its insane and..............

Nokia keeps producing buggy phones and firmware will be corrected many month after how stupid those are... theyre just making money unlike SE who brings innovation models without bugss... p800,p900,p910 and this upcoming p990 (NO JOKES!) people says SE dont have experience in making symbians hmm i tink nokia fans are too blind to say nokia are experts in Symbians who always hurry everything and the result? annoying errors. SE makes very reliable symbian handsets that even late when introduced to market, becomes the best phone ever made. don't judge the phone by it's great features but great quality...
for those who are blind with nokia's propaganda they will say F*k SE who the hell are they? fine, go for their model and see if the hard disk will last for long and carl-zeiss will be as stable as CMOS of SE... some of these peoples are complaining this for being late so you want to have errors on this phone and complain again to SE forums of why it happens? is that what you want!

Since I got tired of waiting for this phone, and considering the fact that better devices are now available, I went for the I-TEQ. Great device, very robust, Wi-fi , Bluetooth , Tv tuner , FM radio , MP3 player , Sound recorder, Built in Answer machine, Background sound effects, 2.1 MP camera with flash and macro switch, slide mechanism for a numerical keyboard, Windows mobile 5.0 2005 , 262 K touch screen and lots of other fancy features. Also included is 2 chargers , two batteries and a 256 MB mini SD card.
The P990i dont seem appealing anymore, specially since its not even available and god knows the price at release time.

Like i mention before... SE is not going to collapse by losing you this kind of customer... for me i too been happily waiting for it realease... why can't you people be like me and just wait!
If anyone out there don't have the patient to wait, than get some other phone... and i don't think you people can afford it machine too... i meant some of you..

Everyone here have a short memory. Nokia N91 was launched 12 months after its anouncement. SE will beat that. SE stands for quality!

SE should learn from Samsung, even Nokia leasrned something from Samsung. SE is a arrogant guy that is still thinking that customers will follow their ideas. not they folowing customers' demand. with this phone, i believe that SE can really do something with the market share. as a lot of people have been waiting for this model. but till now, nothing happen. i suspect that even the final phone have not been completed yet. the one that has been shown is only sample.

i like it so much, but dont understand why it has not come out yet. SE is the champion in late release. i believe that they are still woring on the pricing. another reason might be, they are still working on the the final hardware and primary software. well. let's see. but i agree with some1' idea, SE will lose customers because of late release. I have been waiting for this half a year already. it has been too long for buying a phone, especially as of now N91 from Nokia has come out. i dont know... but i am still thinking of this. Might be i'll get both of them hehe. Tony Tran HCM

I waited and waited and waited for this phone and finally bought the nokia n91 which has a lot of overlapping features with the SE P990 except it is not touchscreen. I love the nokia phone and hope that sony ericsson will lose most of its customers due to poor product releases.

Nokia N91 is getting great reviews check it out if you don't want to wait for this phone.
Sony is slow...
don't buy extra memory stick guys don't waste you money in 1yr you will be looking at another ph. new memory stick = new ph.
Nokia has 4 gig thats enough dam.

This fone is ok but the problem is the kepade covers the screen, i know u can take it off but the the buttons would be too small(qwerty)............nope, Im goin for w950, much better

whats wrong with sonyericsson now in middle east in COMEX sales man said that the phone will be released in July and he said am sure , why SE making with us like this but in site it sais June
