HAHA Iam getting this phone from Brightpoint trow my company. Delivery approx 15/2........
The best phone @ the moment. Heard that there is going to be released two new models. Smartphones p970 and p980. But they ain´t going to have the W-lan connection

western electronics has this phone on the website as a "pre-sale" only. i purchased it. i then emailed western electonics to ask of a eta.. have not heard yet but will keep you posted. hope this phone is worth the bucks! geez. i am broke! the price of keeping up and ahead of the "jones'" cost money! touche!

WOW!! Great phone.. I saw this phone.. I tried it!! WOW!! Awesome graphics!!
Its defenitely on my RADAR..
I tried this phone @ SONY style NYC!! Its an exhibit of all the new tech SONY will have in 2006..
I spoke to a Sony Rep.. He doesn't know either when this phone is coming out..
Im telling you!! ITS A VERY NICE PHONE!!

whatever this phone is made of; it doesnt worth 1300$; for me id rather wait another 6 months and take it at the price i want ;)

Here in Luanda, Angola there are some mobile phone dealers charging US$ 2000 for P990i and you only will receive the phone in the midle of february. and according to a local gsm magazine they received money for 200 units in 1 week!!! does this phone worth all that?

carphone said "spring" for this handset. the p series are always late for release. i can't wait for this handset, but will be worth the wait!

I think that it is better to write when the P990i is readily available in the market and it is in your hands instead of speculation.
Last year, someone wrote that the P990i will be available in Dubai in December 2005.

I guess thats overly priced, if at all its 'available'. Sony says it hasnt released it yet! it shouldnt be more than 700 USD.:)
(Jst a wish) coz u could get a better PDA with all the mentioned features and GSM at the price of 999 USD.
Anyways, the grab initially is not worth it! But trust me waiting for a month after it is released should be worth it, coz the prices are expected to come down and the bugs will be lesser...This is only a personal opinion.Cheers!

Finally! Im so happy that the SE P990 is already available. You can get it at welectronics.com for $1300, i just called them now and they have it in stock. as expected, the price is going to be high on its first day on the market, maybe on the fist week. SO i guess ill have to wait for maybe 2weeks to a month the get the price to go down to a reasonable and realistic price. i hope no one's gona b a fool to buy it today.

it's official! Sony Ericsson P990 is not in stock yet at WElectronics. I just called them and the guy told me they're going to have them in a "couple of weeks." just want you guys to know. :)
