hey guys is that true ??? is in store now ?! somebody said that it will be in store on March and now i have seen in the web it's in store ! i'm happy if it's in store i'll go and see it today but if i didn't find it i'll cry ! i want to change my T68i i'm waiting the P990 please if anybody see it in store just tell me :)thanQ

    dc-18 it could be that slow because my p900 had only a 153 mhz proccessor in it

      oh... u cant compare price wif nokia phones... this phone has 3G... wifi... bluetooth... irda... usb... 4GB memory stick slot... touch screen... qwerty keypad... where u can find such spec in nokia... oh yes... some nokia phone u found got wifi... but no touch screen...? cant expand memory...? some got 3G... but no 2nd camera...? even sux is E61... no camera at front or back as well... they wan u to buy camera add on from them... think properly b4 u buy... i will go for Fujitsu-Siemens Pocket Loox T800 anyway... got all features plus GPS n oso windows mobile 5.0 OS... easily install any software from my windows OS laptop...

        WElectronics says they will have it tomorrow in stock (1/27). I doubt that. And they are asking $1400. I just got the price quote over the phone. What crooks....

          aarghh. i cant decide whether to go for nokia n80 or SE P990i. they both have very similar features. price is not an issue to me but the release date. i think p990 will come out earlier so i may have to go for that one, what are the main differences??

            Well guys...i will confim this you had better start saving NOW if you havnt already within 4 weeks most of us will have this beauty in out mits and that is official from Sony Ericsson .

            List of things to get
            P990 mobile
            A good size memory card
            Leather Case (p910 krussel will fit)
            If your not using a a2dp headphones then you will need headphone adaptor to take 3.5mm headphones - check mobilefun.com

                Is that true that the processor is Philip Nexperia which only runs at 208 MHz?

                  No doubt, this phone is great.
                  One of the best, it will kick all nokia smartphone.
                  But i think this phone cant compete nokia because its price.
                  I just start 2 dream......

                    I called the SE Headqaters in London and they said that they are gonna launch this baby in march.
                    Didnt really specify when in march.
                    But i think this is definitely worth waiting for !!!
                    Ive used loads of other handsets before, Nokia,Motorola,Samsung.
                    I had a P900 a year back, i left it on the plane, that was by fat the best phone ive ever had.
                    And since im a Sony fan all my camera's/MMC cards are all compatible with this phone.
                    Its the best ever, im definitely gonna get this.
                    I wonder how much it will be when they release it.

                            Well, Mates...I can understand the desire and the difference in owning a new gadget. But my only suggestion , u gotta wait for some time till the bugs are fixed even after its release...therez none tat does not have any bugs...tats y they keep releasing versions after versions for upgrading your fone!...

                            Its a matter of opinion. The choice is urs!

                                    I have the retail one.. Because my boss has the BETA!! We have received 5 of these from Sony Ericsson. And they are all on testing to launch the reviews.

                                    Well as far as the errors.. We don't know.. Im just the critic. We get them 1st before they come out the market..

                                    After this project, Im throwing this device in the garbage..

                                    Im telling you.. base on my experties.. This is a NO! NO!

                                      And althought they are bringing out bigger memory cards for the phone, its hardly worth it when the current 4gb memory stick pro is priced at $400....thats another p990...by the time its a duo stick and a resonable price the p1000 will be out!

                                        Even if u look at SE's webpage and compare the specs, ull find that the current w900i has a much better spec, is smaller and only lacks the keyboard and touch-screen...so why bother with it?
