Can any one help. My phone keep scrulling up down whenever i am using d side volume wheel. What is d problem. Doing dis, makes me grow mad,feeling splashing d phone on floor. Though is d best phone ever had.

Is Sony Ericsson planing to release a more upgraded version of the P990i? Coz this fone is good for serious "business type" Phone user's.

good day to all. i have this wonderful phone for 1 year now and i have downloaded so much software into it from the internet. i placed the softwares in the card memory. but how come my phone memory also has depleted so much. now my phone memory remaining is only 1 gb. im worried with this. how can i solved and lower the phome memory without deleting the downloaded softwares?

Wesley, 17 Jan 2009I lov it's output production and indeed a fine phone, maybe... moreits an opinion, geek! hehe jk ! ye man its a wicked phone, i love it, it supports nearly everything. since i wear tight trousers most of the times, i would prefer something abit more slim, if only it was slim then i wouldnt change it! and dont keep your hopes up coz i aint selling it )

I just got my p990i recentlt. the problem i am having is that i am unable to configure it automatically with my network provider(mtn) or manually to browse with the fone. I have tried all configuration i know which is working perfectly with nokia phones, yet its not working. Please i need someone to help me out with the right configuration so that i can surf the net with the phone. The wireless is working perfectly but i still need to run the other configuration incase i am nt within a wireless network area. The fone is simply a super machine. I love it. george

yes this is really great mobile. camera quality is really best and other features is nice and easy use too.

This is a great phone.However,I'm unable to utilize MMS or surf the internet on it.My SMS (text messaging is Ok).Can anyone assist me on how to set it up pls. Thanx.

I'm a 5 months P990i user...phone is great and I'm very satisfied with it.You can make a software update from the sonyericsson website by installing the update service on your pc and then follow the procedures very carefully...I tried it and made a software update to my phone after a week from buying it,and reall the phone performance and respond was totally changed...wish to you good results...

hey guys i had this phone for about maybe 2 yrs now great phone , not too pocket friendly but not much of a problem, my battery started diying up on me , decided to get another phone , been a SE user for almost 4 yrs now, k 750 and some other k SERIES SE phones, so i decided to get xperia x1 but changed my mind bcuz tmobile doesn t have 3G coverage in the state of Ohio so i got NOKIA 5800 the shittiest touch screen phone ever, 1st i loved but started encountering too many problems , after 1 week of nokia i m back to my 2 yrs old p 990i and loving it
just gota do some upgrades on it and try to get it connected to wifi because i wasn t ablt to before
let s hope it ll work out better

Because d louder it is, d higher d bat consumption, so 4 dat, don't speek when u have nothing 2 say. Pls go ahead with a new 1, good4 u and don't come back, i love mine p990i and nokia5300.give urs to p990i lovers. U know nothing.

i love my p990i, i have had it for a year and a half and i am very satisfied.
from my experience the only major problems i face are:
1. way too chunky and ugly, not pocket size
2. the sound in general is not loud
i want to buy a new phone because of these reasons
not recommened for youngsters!

My P990i's video camera does not focus properly when taking videos. Has anyone encountered the same problem? Or there's a setting I need to adjust or play around with?

just passed by, but i just wanna tell u guys that i love this phone and this phone is gud. though its old but is still not left behind because its features can stil outmatch the latest phones.
everyday, i do drop my phone like two meters high. and accidentaly flushed it in our toilet bowl. its one year old. it stil functions perfectly.
if ur p990 is original, it shud have a really gud quality. . .
im planning to buy an ipodtouch/nano now. im tired of phones. im getting addicted to music. purely to music. though my phone has an mp3 player it is still better to have dfrent equipment for difrent purposes.
