To john daniel:
U'll have to update ure phone through the update service. If u have broadband then it should be no problem but on dial-up it takes 6 hrs. Alternatively check for nearest SE store to see if they offer this service.
Update software is available on SE website.

Why bother those games?
There are lot's of great P990i games in the web. You can download everything if u want and u don't have to pay for it :)

i used to have a p990 i loved it it was really handy and had everything including wifi which i dodn't know until now but unfortunantley i no longer have the p990 i traded it for a k850 which i hate and is the worst phone by the way looking forward to get my p990 back P.S p990 some disatvantages are that the p990 is really thick and big as well heavy and it's a little slow otherwise it's great! cheers!

I have just given up my P990 after a year of restarts "to improve performance" the hardware is excellent but the UIQ3 interface just is just too "buggy" I have has all previous P series SE's and had great hopes for the P990i. Opening attachements and office docs is painfully slow. The qwerty keyboard is just a little too small. It comes close to being an excellent phone but UIQ3 get in the way of smooth and easy operation. On the plus side, it has every feature you could want except for GPS, on paper its amazing. What a shame it did not deliver in practice.

i live in Trinidad i have a p990i and i must say that it is one of the best phone that we have here everything is just fantastic about it and if you are planning to buy one good decision

This p990i is great for everything - good camera,good wifi,music,radio but its a bit slow on the other hand and too big,good business phone but that doesn't stop me from loving it

I have a P990i and can not get the phone to sync with my outlook. The message says "Disabled by device" The SE service center here in Hochiminh City was worthless. My IT guy is trying to fix but we have spent most of today trying to fix the problem.. Does any one ejse have this problem??

I can't understand how those special characters can slow your typing. But one useful advice is to double-click the down-arrow to end a selection.

I NEED HELP!!!
My concern is how to turn off the accented letters/special characters while typing a message, using the multi-tap (using the outer keyboard)
coz im used to typing using the outer keyboard and it makes me a slow typist if there are special characters like (î,æ,û,ñ,à)
please i need HELP
