so i fell in love with this phone when i first got it. i mean i like the look of feeling smart ;) but... for some reason.. it restarts BY ITSELF periodically... like before it was justlike 5 times a week.. which was ok for me.. cuz not alot of people call me anyways.. BUT recently.. it started acting up even more.. so it doubled.. but TODAY ALONE restarted ATLEAST 30 TIMES ON ITS OWN and everytime it finished loading it said -phone restarted to update blah blah blah better performance..- i dont know if its the battery.. or what.. but it is driving me NUTS. and im getting a new phone SOON.

i bought a P990i phone two months ago. It works fine but no Arabic language available as optional selection.

Great phone.Excellent browser,good music player.But the battery life is damn low.
Needs charging after every 2 days,sometimes daily unlike K750 which can last upto a week.

se p990i is a best pda ever i seen,and se w580 is a music phone .its not a pda at all.infact it dosent support 3g and wifi.whats the point to buy w580 when you already have se p990i?.

i am curently using p990..and it is a good phone. but the down side is, it is too bulky and the touch screen is not very accurate when you're using the stylus..but it has the best internet features..you can search the web whenever there is an internet connection. in my case, it is very helpful to me because our school has wifi. but i am planning to sell my p9 already..and buy w580i instead..wat do you think guys?? tnx for your replies..=)

Very disappointed about it. I use it 6 month. Crashed often. The worst is the battery - should be recharged daily or maximum at 2 days (maximum 2 hours in conversation). The specifications are for 9 hours in conversation - big liers Ericsson. And the last – the original case has a big problem it has only a clips without the posibility to lock on the belt.
Now I bought a Nokia E51, half price, better phone. It was a real upgrade.

this phone is awesome!
i just realised that with my 3g network, i can connect it through USB or bluetooth to my laptop and use my laptop anywhere (with 3g network signal) for internet connection.
i was gonna get a wireless modem but not anymore. not much difference with p1 so i dont see the point of replacing.
HIGHLY SUGGESTED PHONE EVEN FOR BASIC PHONE USERS WITH LAPTOP..TO BE ON THE GO!

Basically both phones belongs different category,N73 equipped with 3.2 carl ziss optic camera phone producing fine still pictures but the video capture is suck all time ,whereas P990I is a multitasker phone .you can do everything with this gadget this phone have a better 2mp camera,3g,wifi capability,qwerty keyboard which is very useful .If you want a all round phone with a good stabilty unduoghtedly go for se p990i,I used both phones and my personel opinion going for se p990i.

i am totally disappointed with it!
but yet itWAS so cool...
bcuz now it does 'nt work at all...
actually i dropped it in river and for just 5 seconds it was there and now...:((

Had nothing but problems with P990.
Enjoyed both the P900 and P910 in this range before i had the P990 and was very happy with them.
Had P990 handset replaced within 3 months due to crash/resetting for "enhanced performance" (what a joke). Then replaced again 6 montha after, for similar reasons, amoungst others.
Captured images are not saved and then phone crashes of freezes,
Drops calls,
Slow at opening and operating features,
Often drop down menus have no text.
Over all this phone is slow. The three other people I know with P990 had all suffered similar problems or disappointment. I had been really happy with the previous two models in the P900 range, but would NOT RECOMMEND P990.
