Anonymous, 24 May 2008when the keys crack do they still function???yeah it works, i got a couple of keys cracked but they dont bother me. mine fell of like 7 ft. down and the only freaky moment of desperation was like when the screen got stuck a week later. its a pretty good phone, i've had it for like 3 months and its pretty awsome

Yo...dis phone aint that bad....I don't know what all them people are chatting about...I've had mine for like 2 months now and it's doing ok...I mean I've dropped it and people have slapped it outta my hands and everything is still working...the only thing is that my keypad has cracked up man....every single last numerical key has cracked..but it looks good from an angle...like some kinda retro design..U dig?

I dropped it once on the pavement and it was gone. Microphone got broken and nobody was able to fix it. the design is above average, but it is too fragile. like an egg... i recommend avoid purchasing it.

This is one the best sony ericsson handsets on the market in a long while. great sound.

My keypad has stopped working and I cant even get the phone to come on. i thought tht it needed charging but it was at 61% when i was able to get it on. then i tried to used the down button and tht dont work neither does the # 2 button and if i hold it down to get a response the phone shuts down

well have get my own in december & it drop one day after all now mi nuh get nuh display on the screen, its reall cute though but soft i guess

omg this phone really look great! but too bad i can said its oso SE most worst phone.. 10 of my friend using this phone out of 10 their keypads are all CRACK. do u wan to sms with ur cracked keypads.. its soooo uncomfortable.. mayb SE should make a better quality.. cz this phone aint cheap too!

yeah seems like everyone has faced the same problem all my keys have cracked right in the middle...it looks weird and also i've read that some of urs automatically turn off, mine does the same, this fon's is indeed really beautiful but it has some faults that need to be fixed, and also my fon doesn't support 2gb external memory, it keeps on ejecting the memory card, n i have to insert it again to get it working. This one's very disappointing.

I've had this phone for awhile (it's great..) and the font was all white but today it just randomly turned orange which is pretty wicked but how do I change that/ how did that even happen?

I had this phone in spring yellow for about 4 months. It was a really great phone. The mp3 player & the speakers were amazing. It played music very loud. Reliable battery... and for your information, the "keyboard" didn't brake on me because I took good care of it. The keyboard only cracks if you slide down your phone too hard & you drop it constantly.

yes. you can video record on this phone. but you are going to need to buy external memory because 12mb internal memory isn't enough for long, video recordings. the keypad has not cracked for me yet. i only had this cell for about a month (contrasted copper version).
chathu_frk4vr - the "on/off" button is located on the back of the phone. tiny, black button on the top right. "battery low" means you need to charge the phone. this is common sense. i don't understand why you would throw away a $240 phone because it has no more power. your comment confuses me. maybe, you can be more specific on what you meant.

Keys Do crack. I got them replaced twice. But this time it looks like they've fixed the problem. It's been 2 months and this set of keys hasn't cracked yet.
...lately the phone has started turning off by itself. So I'll have to put it again for service.
So, vital stats are: I have owned this phone for 6 months, out of which, it has spent 1 month at the service centre.
But this phone is *really* beautiful and unique.
Bottomline: Maintaining it is like maintaining a girlfriend. Requires its (rather big) share of upkeeping, but manageable, and makes you feel good too, when you look at its pretty face :)

good 1 wit al da good stuff....but...
cant seem 2 find the "on" button...
it always has dis msg on it..."Battry low" what does it mean???
3 days i had 2 throw it away afterwards...
feal so sad...
want 2 buy another 1...
n giv another try to use it....
if i fail al 4get about phones....hehe

hmmm im super confused!!! Do the keys like fully crack or is it a fixable thing. I like the design of this fone and hoping to buy it. please tell me wether it is good or not!! Can you video record on this fone???

expect the buttons to crack and the software to experience problems within 4 months. Disappointment much? Yes!!!

I have a blue z610 an black an green s500 although the screen is better on s500 240x320 an z610 176x220 id go for z610 its miles better in construction itl last you much longer than s500 would an my s500 spends more time being repaired than with me the keypad is awful go for z610 you wont regret it.
