i'm from malaysia, i've known 4 friends of mine using this phone, only 1 have no problem with it. the other 3 have the cracking key pad problem(2 of them female), and 1 guy have 1 more problem --- when making call the receiver heard very loud buzzing sound. he try fixing it, 2 shop can't repair it, so, he's trying for the third time.

I was really excited to get this phone but was soon very disappointed. All keys but 2 ended up breaking AND the mic. The other person on the other end could not hear me. I sent it in for repair and they sent it back without fixing the mic. I sent it back yet again. I called Sony or the status of my repair for them to tell me they don't know where my phone is! They said it was sent back because Sony didn't put my apt number in. The customer service rep specifically told me they were sending it back and I should receive it in a few days. A few days passed by and I called them again. I spoke with a manager just for that idiot to tell me they don't know where my phone is and that he can't do anything else to help me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sony products and this is the FIRST Sony phone I've ever purchased, but I will never again buy one. I've always had Nokia phones or Samsung and I've never had a problem with them. And yes, the only reason I'm complaining about this is because I've had such AWFUL luck with this. But it's been TWO months I've been without my phone!

Sonyericsson is better,i own a s500,it is nice phone.now i planned to by a
Phone n96/H1i any one can help me in this two.but i do not sell my pretty s500

I have had this phone for about 4 months and the only issue I have had is the keypad cracking but replacements are easily found on ebay.
I like the way you can have ringtones for specific people and record spoken video tones for people.
I think it's an awesome phone!!!

The design is super cool.

well i really liked the phone wen i bought it...but its drawback of crack in the keypad is realy bad.i bought this phone just 2 months back n now the keys hav started cracking up!!!
this is the only reason i dont like this phone,otherwise the graphics n all r realy good...

i juz got dis phone 2day. very prety phone, pluz the main theme z sooooo imazing!!!!!
but does anyone know how to set the clock on the screen saver( or wateva u call it, i mean when i slide the phone down n... the screen turn all black). thankzzz a lotttt 4 helpin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
