I have this phone for close to 3 months and i still have no problems with key cracking, lighting of the cell or any lagging I'm very satisfied with this cellphone.

me and my friend bought this phone in green and we have it 1-2 months and we don not have any problem with the kp or lighting.
Im sure the problems with the new builts are over, its a great phone, good battery also.

i have the contrasted copper phone, from wireless experts on ebay --and the phone has been great. the keys have not cracked. i got the phone at the end of october, so i've had it about a month now, maybe a little longer. as i mentioned before, the right side of the keys are not as well lit, but it's not a big concern with me. i have a mac powerbook at home, which has bluetooth, but for some reason, it does not detect the bluetooth in the phone. i'm not quite sure how to hook up my phone to my computer otherwise.
can anyone help?

i checked this phone in shops, some of them havent cracked keys after using-testing of many people.. but one had 1-2 cracked keys.. i was worring after these posts here but i noticed this is NOT a BIG DEAL.. this phone is perfect of what im looking for & i dont care about little cracks in a place who is hiding.. im not a poser showing my phone..

And when was the 2nd batch issued? So I can check at the store before buying it (cause of the keypads, of coures).

just got this phone yesterday its sweet so far i have many themes on it all downloaded looking for a way to get free games if neone knows please let me know because i dun want to use the phones web browser because its very costly... but other then that keypad seems stiff first thing i did was push around as hard as i could before i bought it and ill keep everyone posted if nething happens...

i lovv this phone but when i first slided the phone it came off so i have2 bits of the phone, thefront nd the back my lighting and keys are great so get it its fab!!!!!
its worth it deff.

yes the buttons crack too easily...
so i was looking around if there were button replacements and i was wondering if the 'silver keypad' was stronger or is it just the same as the green?

had this phone about 2 months for now, nothing's wrong with it and i have no problems with the keypad at all, i make about 40 to 50 sms per day, and my keypad is still working fine, maybe the ones with cracked keypads are the first batch of s500, i dont know, just my personal opinion, maybe people who love this phone can wait for the 4th of 5th batch since every 1st batch of new phones always have problems. For SE lovers, try to have patient and wait for the 2nd batch and onwards phone, its more improved.

Dino poblems with your memory card are because its a nock off... many SE owners have the same problem with hk rip offs. as for the lighting issue? i've not had a problem with any keypad illumination at all! i have got cracked keys and my phone was made in week 40, i have now bought a silver keypad online and switched them over... looked even better now! now more cracked keys for me!
note the yellow/silver version does not crack as far as i know.

Okay, it's time for a 3 month review...
i have a week 31 black/green edition.
CONS:
- yes the key pad still cracks after week 28. all my keys are cracked
- the light on the left side does not work anymore. it doesnt light up at all
- the top left "call" button does not work anymore. no matter how hard i press, nothing happens.
- the face plate scratches very easily.
- slider feels very flimsy when open.
- software problems, such as freezing, and the M2 suddenly not being recognized (while phone is on)
- no flash (or led at all for camera) and no mirror
PROS:
- does attract attention
- good sound quality
- easy to use PC - phone software
*i have never dropped the phone and i still encounter these problems*

yes..it is true..all my keypad are crack.only the * n 0 key does not crack..damn it!! i bought it during 1st launch..huwa...

SWEET!! my fone is in service now getting buttons fixed... seeing as you are in the business, where do u get the different coloured keypads??? and r they reliable?? or are they cheap n nasty n crack??

tis phone personally i fell in love with the desgin at first sight. almost bought it when the person told me the key would crack easily . looks like its really true.
