Mines a week 35 as i posted before had it ten days an keypad cracked number 6 key its been sent away now 4 at least 2 weeks disgusting for 130 pounds good job ive got spare phone for meantime

very good phone, had no problems with the key pads yet. I recommend this to anyone. It's very rare too unless you classify the W580 as the same phone. there are tons of W580 in where i live.

hi, can people post the week their phone was made in the comments about the keypad cracking? i'm trying to figure out if sony has fixed the problem after week 27 or 28. i'm waiting for the white phone!! but i don't want to deal with having to get it fixed.

Been using it about a week and I found the keypad bit hard to press because its small and very closely positioned maybe thats the reason for cracking, the design is very good, good looking phone. No radio u have to buy the memory separately and its thin. for me its a worth it phone to buy.

after 2weeks, 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, # have all cracked... I'm currently waiting [1week now] for my keypad replacement. At least SE recognized the problem.. Just hope that the new keypads will be crack-free...

This phone is OK. bit problem with the keys and the light (it switches off during work).Beside that everything is wonderfull

ADVISE to turn off light during call.
Use your ear piece. It will turn off back light completely. or you can try to lock the keys. BLESS UP

4 of my mates have yellow version an all ther keys have cracked 1 of them when they got it home from shop

Can anybody please tell me if it's possible to have the back light(the screen) off during a phone call? To me, the backlight (screen) stays on during the whole conversation and drains the battery a lot. Anyone that have the solution, please advise!! THANKS!

just a reconfirmation...its just the black/green one that has the keypad problem right? i think i might get the yellow or contrasted copper/white (hope it does have a problem with the keypad as well)
