why some of the s700i owners said that the video not limited to 2 mins and mainly depending on the memory stick?!! for my s700i even I used 256MB free space memory stick still couldn't take more than 2 mins video clip! please stop to given incorrect information, this is unfair to the consumers if they don't the facts!!!!

My s700i doesn't have 2 minute video recording, but also an option "unlimited".
I have the standard European version, haven't done a firmware update yet. The only thing annoying is that the camera sound cannot be set to silent. Also the 128mb story is wrong. My friend uses 256mb. It is compatible with memorystick duo pro, but just doesn't use the higher speed capability which the pro versions offer. Technically Memorystick duo is able to carry a maximum of 3 terrabytes(!) haha, that would be nice on a phone! Why is the Samsung D500 better? I don't share that opinion. I don't like the whole blinking and animated crap on samsung phones. Also the interface is not my thing. Also their material use is not of the quality Sony Ericsson uses. And if you like to animate a menu, do it minimal and stylish like Sony Ericsson does. But of course, this is all very personal ;)
The Samsung D500 is also very cheap. You can get it for free here with really basic contracts. If you want a s700i for free, you have to get a much higher contract and mostly you then still have to pay around 100 euro for it.

Fantastic screen and camera, but kinda disappointed with the user-friendliness of the phone functions...too many clicks involved. Also, voice activation function is less than my T68i....why why why (ie cannot redial by voice command). Also 128 mb limitation on memory is a little weak. Other than that, a reasonable phone that certainly turns heads!!!

S700i is a very good cellphone!
But I guess that the most 1.3Mp CCD cam can do. Maybe that's the limittation of a cam phone.
Overall, it's nice, nice screen, & hear-able ringtones... Too bad is the extendable memory is limit to 128Mb only.
Overall, good phone, with high price too!

Have the phone for a month now...video is not limited to 2 mins unless your memory stick is full or sumtin...much better than the N6630...

i have a sonny s700 and very happy with it, well apart from the video recorder, as good as the sharpgx30 as a camera,
but my m8 has a better phone in the form of the amazing samsung d500, its better at all things :(

every phones has limitations.. if you want unlimited video,go buy a video cam.

Now I decide to buy NOKIA 6630 just because S700i only 2 mins video clip! for 6630 video up to 1 hour!!!!!

sony ericsson s700i .I think one of the best cellular .Best cellular in a way everything in camera design colour while the nokia 6630 looks nasty as compare with s700i !its really awsome

It's not obvious because you can connect almost every GSM to a PC by "some sort of Cable" - data cable
USB port means that the should hava e USB port!

I cant believe the video is limited to 2 mins. Why the fcuk is their an option of limited and unlimited if both only do 2 mins max. That doesnt make sense. The K700 is unlimited and I dont uderstand why the S700 would be limited.
