Well actually every phone has an OS!! It's just that the S700 is the SE OS. All phones need an OS to functions otherwise you would just be looking at a blank screen. Don't listen to him Ghost. Symbian is a great OS and is use by alot of Manufactures inc Sony Ericsson, Nokia Siemens and there is rumors that Samsung will be joining the group as well.
But the S700 doesn't have Symbian or Windows OS. But don't let that turn you off this phone as it is still great.

This phone isn't great. After three month of regular use, my swivel blocked at 2/3 open and won't go any further. I heard a tick (mechanism?) when i opened it. I've send it to SE and hope it's nothing big.
Somebody also have problems of same or different use?

OS?If you are talking about the likes of Windows Mobile,or Linux or even that pseudo-bastardized piece of crap known as symbian, nope it doesn't have any of this.

I've just used my S700 all Xmas and it's great as a camera, however moving from Nokia I have found that the SMS message memory is quite small. Is there a way of expanding this. I found Nokia's having about 150 but the S700 is quite small. It's the only tiny gripe as I found trhe MP3 and photo's fantastic !

The only way to get the games on there is via Bluetooth or Infra Red. What I do is copy them onto my wifes K700i using the data cable then bluetooth them to my phone. Works like a charm, except it is very slow using a data cable. But them's the breaks.

Has this phone got full internet?
Also does anyone have any idea how you get games on the phone. I have a disc which has 2000 games on it but having problems when putting them on the phone. I got a memoey stick and am using a card reader. Problem I have is the only sutiable folder I really got to put the files in is 'other'. Have done this but the files then appear on the phone as unusable and the onl thing I can do is send them. Is this because they are not in the applications or games folders?
