vivaz has TI OMAP 3440 720 mhz....that's why it can shoot 720p

Today the new firmware was made available for my Satio and I've updated it. I've noticed afterwards that the framerate in the specifications for the WVGA recordings (30 fps) is incorrect - actually these videos are shot at something like 24 fps. One can only record at close to 30 fps if the traditional non-wide VGA mode is selected. Here follows the information of videos recorded in both formats:

About the phone in a whole, I do NOT recommend it in any way. Not even this recent firmware update, released 4 months after the previous, can make the Satio something even close to what one can call an "object of desire". The web, including these opinions pages, is full of disappointed Satio owners namely because of the software implementations made by Sony Ericsson over the SymbianOS. Moreover, the highlight of this phone, the 12 megapixel camera, takes pretty noisy pictures specially in the dark and the Xenon flash can barely handle them. Yeah, I know the Satio has beautiful looks. But there's prettier room decoration that is as useful as the Satio but much less expensive.

Updated to R2AK006 dt 18th Feb 10, best part is wvga recording its perfect, after months Satio is on Top.
Performance is optimal its worth what everybody were crying for.

The only bad thing on Satio is the Fastport, but I even like that too, because I've some old accessories (being a SE fan, huh?) that I can use them with it!

Seriously, I have seen many satio haters, but all of them admitted that the satio has a brilliant camera!
They complained about bugs, low battery but never ever some one said that the camera is bad!
And yet we see some aliens sorry people claim that the satio has one of the worst cameras! God, how can those people stand them selves! I mean living to cheat, lie and be a total loser. I swear to god its really hard to imagine :)

Bla bla bla !! Enough with nonsense already, it seems the only good thing you are in, is talking nothing more. From the beginning when you say that the satio has a better camera from the iphone this clearly shows how noob you are! Really?? You told me something I never know about it? The satio has a batter camera than the iphone? How amazing. Of course it has a better camera. in fact, it crashes the iphones camera in pieces! You should compare the satio's camera to the samsung pixon 12, or nokia n86 not the iphone!!
Look pal people are not blind to not see that your an apple fanboy and you enjoy playing with your toy! Satio is a true smartphone and what you got it called a true smart toy lol. The difference is huge.
So get over it already, I'm sure you even never owned or tried a satio otherwise you would never say a funny thing such as the satio has a better camera than the iphone. It's like saying the ferrari is better than a toyoto! oo really, I wonder who doesn't know that :)

the R2AK006 firmware definitely made my satio faster...not much change in the ui. some extra apps,and the wvga added is a plus. if only we could get a 3.5mm jack from an update LOL!...
