robz, 03 Feb 2010pls tell us about the external speaker. does it have bass a... moreRobz the speaker doesn't have much bass (like GSMarena wrote) and is a single speaker, but the sound is loud and clear, fine enough for me. At least it's one of the loudest phones I've had so far.

I have so many photos but I don't want to view them by date but by group/folder. Under Media u can org. the Music by creating Playlist that is nit stight fwd in Satio but what to do with photos????

eyrah, 03 Feb 2010i wnt to buy this phone,but what i've heard from my peeps i... moresince i bought this phone twice it restarted but after i updated it i opened all apps in the background and the speed did not even slow down

I bought Satio one week ago and I feel that I bought a Camera but not a Phone!!! Many basics features are not available that are there in my SE K850i such as the below.
1. No scroll view for the photos under File Manager!!!
2. You can’t play next track by clicking on next button under File Manager!!! The strange is that the next button there but you can’t use it.
3. Difficult to create Playlist especially if you have many tracks as there is no link between Media and File Manager.
4. All calls icons under “Log” are the same and the rejected calls listed under “Received” I/O “Missed calls”. Also there is no list for all calls!!
5. There is no “Phone Status” to show you the Battery life, Alarm, Memory etc.
6. Separate Delivery reports Folder and not within the Sent Items Folder.
Hope I can find answers to any of the above points…..

khan, 03 Feb 2010pretty crappy video resolution compared to phones like sams... morevga is not the qualty of movie
vga is the size of movie
so a vga can be better than d1 or wvga and a vga can be worse than qvga or wqvga
look at n900 and satio
please watch both video sample
this is obvious that satio is winner in video quality
but size of the videos from n900 is bigger
only 2 phones can beat satio in video quality

Anonymous, 04 Feb 2010to guys who think a s/w update will do a magic...no it wont... morei dont think for 1 min an update will solve all the little things wrong about this phone but all phones have design faults but as for stereo speaker cant really see the point in them that much the phone is only around 3 inch wide so not really going to get that stereo effect are you! has long as the headphones are stereo that is good enough for me and yea true an update will not change the battery but it can change how the software runs in the phone so it does not use so much power i do believe nokia have done this in the past with there phones, i would still buy this phone tomorrow over any other phone and any update that might come along is always welcome

headsets are headphones have mic on them
the mic part is available on the on-wire 3.5 connector of the satio...

It would be good if SE make a new Satio phone with built-in 16\32GB memory + expandable memory!!! Then Satio sure would be best phone on the planet!!!

The Speakers are not Stereo but not to bad,hope Sony Ericsson do Software updates to improve the Satio further,as thats the Good idea from Nokia,but heard nothing yet from Sony Ericsson,You would think with the good name at Sony that there mobiles with Ericsson would be the Best,but never seem to stick up there good name yet,Why?
