Symbian, 31 Dec 2009Well I haven't used Android yet but it looks good. I guess ... moreYou know that Android can't send files via Bluetooth right? You need to install hacks and third party software, but even $20 cheapo phones can send files via bluetooth! But not Android!

I was searching on google and Android OS also has bugs but nothing major.
I guess it just depends in which suits your style may it be Android OS or Symbian OS.

had this phone for 3 weeks. few teething issues like, display functions and switching off. but loaded the new software update and its perfect, and faster than the iphone. this is an awsome smartphone and eats the phone, unless you want a bunch of useless apps with a phone and really crap camera. peronally, love the satio...

This is how bluetooth OBEX is supposed to work.

It's has always been like that for Symbian OS everytime you send a file through bluetooth it goes to the Messaging Inbox .. usually when I transfer files through bluetooth i only transfer 1 file; I don't transfer a lot of file at the same time cause it might take a lot of time to transfer through bluetooth.
Try sending files to a Nokia 5800 via bluetooth and I promise you it would also go to the Messaging Inbox, because it also runs in Symbian OS.

There tonnes of softwares out there for Symbian and animation ? Get yourself a animated theme then .... 1st of all , get your hp hacked so u can fit it all softwares ....

J, 30 Dec 2009I just got this online... I love Sony ericsson but for them... moresales in d uk were frozen in carphone warehouse because they got a bad batch off the phones the first batch were bad software and den they cudnt keep up with the demand so they stopped selling it for a while not because all off these are bad it was like 100 corrupt software which is now fixed

new experiment of changing from nokia to sony ericsson is an utter failure..phone has got all the problems like auto switch off,hanging, not ringing,,low volume etc...will never buy a sony ericsson..

not a good phone..all the software problems mentioned below are true (auto swith off, not ringing,hanging etc) Now really feeling bad as to change from nokia to sony ericsson..dint have any such experience from nokia yet.i think its better to buy nokia n900.
