The most expensive set worth 700$ was bought, after my inheritance money came. It is pure plastic,nothing is stable batt one day, video blurred, mem card chinese made shows 6.2gb empty.mono speaker, no single touch but double. No update have to go through italian then again back too complicated procedure. Samsung is most fly brained co, they forgot us one year after just dying to update. Otherwise i am going to burn my HD in front of press and media, call upon Sam to treat us at par, no selective region, as Nokia has universal easy updater. Why with latest studio 7 it is uncompatible.

I just got this online... I love Sony ericsson but for them to do this is reckless... They need to conduct thorough testing of phones b4 releasing them.
Here is another bad news for Sony Ericsson, their Satio sales in UK is suspended by the 2 largest mobile phone retailers in UK, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U after a high number of customer returns and complaints. A “software glitch” reportedly causes Sony Ericsson’s flagship device to power down when users try to access certain applications — unfortunately, the issue can’t be patched via an over-the-air update. However, Sony Ericsson spokesman is saying they are working hard to address the issue.
The 2 retailers have started to offer their customers to exchange the Satio to other phones. Adding to the “already bad” company’s sales performance and financial issues, the company could be facing an “unexpected” sales figures during Christmas season. Sony Ericsson was hoping this 12 megapixels camera phone powered by Symbian will generate sales for the company before their Android based Xperia X10 hit the market next year.

I would like to add 1 more thing I hate about the Satio , lack of stereo speakers making it nothing more than just-another-se hp .... Ya , the camera is nice but lets face the fact , how often u wanna print out a potrait size photo ? U can hardly spot the difference between a 8mpx and 12mpx photo if its printed out in standard size .... For those who dont really know about Symbian softwares , pls do your research before giving your comment(s) . Animated themes for Symbian has been around since Symbian S60v2 (Nokia 6600 , 6630 , etc....) and for softwares for Symbian S60v5 , there r tonnes of it . Just get your Satio hacked so u can install them or else u will get the message " certificate error " . Symbian is not the most stable os but if Satio is using Windows , u guys will b complaining of the crapy screens . Compare to other os , most WM hp got nothing more than a 65k colour TFT screen or once a while u get a 265k TFT like Omnia i900. Yet to come across a WM os's hp with 16million colours . Lastly , there is no perfect phone , if there is , y would u buy a new model when its release . That's just the marketing way . Iphone ? Well , besides from a good OS and it's multi-touch , that phone sucks ...

theres no known resistive device now that has multi-touch but "i think" it's possible with software enhancement ..
with all the technological enhancement happening i think sooner or later they might be able to associate multi-touch with resistive ..
just because it doesn't work now .. it doesn't mean it will never work for resistive ..

the existing resistive devices can only have limited multi-touch maybe only through pictures zooming.
all it needs is software-based refinement

Symbian, 30 Dec 2009yes it's true, the multi-touch in resistive is not as great... moreactually, even if you have a video (you are just like MobileMaster, a noob) you cant really have a multi touch on a resistive.. (yes possible but will not work, maybe on photos..)
1 reason.. for example, if you touch the left side of the screen, then at the same time touch the right, none of them will be click, but the one in the middle of them..
try it in the menu of your any phone that has a resistive screen..

rich, 30 Dec 2009watched yr video i think resistive got alot of work to do t... moreyes it's true, the multi-touch in resistive is not as great as the multi-touch in capacitive but i was just trying to show that it's possible.
X10 has really great specs but you know Sony Ericsson once they release a new phone the Price is very high. I doubt if it would be worth the money.
Satio is a great Camera Phone if your the type of person who likes taking pictures or videos, then this is the phone for you.

according to dailyrecord.co.uk, this phone emits more radiation than other handsets.
in fact Sony Ericsson has 4 handsets in the table which lists 10 handsets producing the most radiation.

bond james bond, 29 Dec 2009se should drop symbian and concentrate on andrid and winmoi agree wid u se must not use symbian os i hate it it appears that se is nokia... boring menu gosh... my satio will be better if symbian is not the os... is it possible to change the os of satio? no animation at all... id been searching software for satio since dec.22.09 still few apps are compatible unlike c905... se go bak to ure original trademark! symbian is nothing...
