Satio has bluetooth while Iphone doesn't have ..

I think Sony Ericsson just needs to keep updating Satio's firmware ..
only thing Satio lacks is a 3.5mm audio jack damn SE with their proprietary audio jack!

Symbian, 29 Dec 2009In Symbian platform when receiving music files via bluetoot... morethe satio can never match i phone be real poeple i watched a you tube video of the latest MADEN AMERICAN FOOTBALL on an i phone yesterday TAKE A LOOK the person was controlling the game with multi touch two fingers on the screen at the same time amazing the satio will never be able to do that cos it has resistive screen one touch only screen. i saw a u tube vidoe of someone playing a hacke nintendos mario game on satio but to control mario he used a wii romote via bluetooth just to control the game not exactly portable. so hardware wise dosent 100% match i phone :)

Someone, 29 Dec 2009HAHAHA ill rather say nothing cause this phone is not for m... morei think it has something to do with the Units Vodafone are releasing .. i mean if not all, most of their units end up being returned for some reason like software glitches and other stuffs..
but so far to those people who bought their Satio from stores .. they are not experiencing any problem ..
there was also a video up on YouTube.com showing a Vodafone Satio and Normal Satio ..
they turn-on both unit at the same time and the Normal Satio loaded much faster ..

In Symbian platform when receiving music files via bluetooth, the file goes to the message inbox and from there you'll save it to your phone. This is not only true to Satio this goes to all the Symbian phones eg. Nokia 5800.
It's true Symbian operating system is full of bugs!
but Sony Ericsson has been releasing firmware updates to address these issues.
Nokia 5800 runs in Symbian OS and from it's first release the phone was a crap load of bugs, but look at it now its much more stable already and most of the bugs are fixed.
I know in time Sony Ericsson will make things right for Satio. Satio has so much potential mainly because it has the same specs as Iphone 3G S except for the proprietary headphone jack but that's a small price to pay for an amazing 12MP camera.

HAHAHA ill rather say nothing cause this phone is not for me,hangs,software all the time has to be done on the phone,vodacentre just tells me that its not their fault.HAHAHAHAHAHA

Is Satio ever going to be released in North America? Is there anywhere else I can find a UMTS 850/900/1900 I dont think theres point getting it if I cant use 3G in America.

rich, 29 Dec 2009i think its an INSULT to other phones to call satio a smart... moreSymbian is my very first OS. and i believe that it can be consider a OS but not a modern OS.. (uhm, i can compare it to windows 98)
actually, to close you can push the red button (or the end call) but not on all applications..
YOU CAN CHANGE VOLUME USING THE HARDWARE KEYS ANYTIME! Transferring music or what ever files is faster than ITUNES.. (i got an ipod touch and satio) i know Satio is faster, my MMC is class 6.. and dont talk about itunes here, it sucks for a phone you know.
1000mah of satio is better than my old iphone 3GS (which i sold because of itunes and buy satio+Itouch)
there are so many free apps.. but your right, there is no apps in SYMBIAN s60 v5..
Satio is cheap phone here in our country.. much cheaper than n97, and omniaHD.
i bought the phone because of its camera... and its nice.. for everything else, i got my itouch =P

if through PC then that sucks big time!
if through bluetooth then no big deal i think all things sent through bluetooth goes to the message inbox..

i think its an INSULT to other phones to call satio a smart phone. sybiain os is not user friendly to many menues to do simple things, when you recieve a music file it goes into your text message inbox?
to close a program you have to go through menues and press exit? no 3.5mm headphone jack in 2009?
you cannot change te volume on the outside buttons while listening to music? the media go software is super slow compared to itunes took me 1 hour to put one album onto media go to transfer on to my satio?
only 1000mah battery the non touch screen w995 uses 950mah battery to compare.
no goods free apps and no good pay for apps and prices expensive unless uve got money to spend.
in the uk the satio started at £499 now you can get it for about £270 thats a big price drop in value because all the problems its had!?
i like sony e but they lost it with the satio i would say stay away from this phone and save your money for maybe x10 or next iphone. satios just a not very good expensive camera phone. i have lost faith i sony e after this i waited one year without upgrading for the satio :(
p.s and yes i had a satio for almost a month before someone starts saying i dont no what im talking about.

man, satio is really one of the worst music player i ever had!! its walkman music player is not good, or maybe its headset.. i dont know, i am just glad i got an ipod touch.. LOL

i bought this phone after seeing it at mall of asia, this phone rocks!!! no probs so far, the only thing that irritates me is when you transfer file it goes to messages, that process reminds of my 6233 after all this phone is a symbian.... SATIO 9.8/10!!!!

i m a big SE fan but what i dont like abt it is they are are big fans of symbian OS life long problem giving n veryyyy irritating
