I hope the coming-up XPERIA X2 will do better, and I'm waiting for it to be among my considerations for the next buy. I'm also considering HTC HD2, which seems to have gained the highest voting rankings among all other phones.

Arak, 29 Oct 2009i agree with you for all your comments but i dont agree tha... moreYou're right. If you get used to SE, you would find it user-friendly, but this takes more time than getting used to Nokia and Samsung. And as I said, SE is a little bit more professional, and when you deal with SE you feel that it's more professional, and that's why many people say SE is the best. In fact, SE may be better than Nokia and Samsung in many areas - but not in photography and video recording - especially after Samsung introduced W880 (3X optical zoom cameraphone). On the hand, the idea that Nokia and Samsung are more user-friendly prevails not only in the Arabian Gulf, but rather in the whole Middle East and Europe.

I'll apologise if I seemed aggressive or anything like that, just proving a point.
To each his own then? You prefer the P12, I prefer the Satio. Lets leave it at that?
It's been interesting to see your opinion though.
Cheers for that.

Jesus, 29 Oct 2009From GSMarena's Satio VS Pixon shootout Winner: Samsung ... moreOK.OK. Don't be so fanatic and agressive, be logic and learn to think and recognize the good things and bads. I said you should read what's between the lines. Moreover, the market confirmed GSM Arena review - Satio is far cheaper than P12 (I8910), and the price gap is widening.

in fact this is widespread idea in the arabian gulf that sony ericsson is not easy to use ,,, you are wrong , it is so easy , just you should get used to it , , in the arabian gulf evry one uses nokia and they know and are used to nokias menu , hence they have this mentality that nokia is easy and more user friendly ,,, in fact this is wrong , and sony ericsson menu is easy and very user friendly ,, just need people to get used to it ,,,

Roshan J Thaliath, 28 Oct 2009Do u own any of these phone by any chance ?Yes, I own a Pixon 12 now, and I have an Innov8 and Omnia HD and tried an SE C905. In fact, I have tried a lot brands like: SE, Samsung, Nokia, Motoralla, HTC (especially X7500). I found out that there is no 'perfect' cellphone for everything. Nokia and Samsung are user-friendly, SE is not. But, it's more professional in other areas like still-photo taking but SE is not good at video recording like Nokia and Samsung - especially Omnia HD. However, SE always gives you a professional feeling in general as it's not a very user-friendly phone. On the other hand, you may find HTC good at internet, email and Mobile Office apps. like Word and Excel. In the Arabian Gulf area, you can enjoy testing and trying many brands and see which is better for a specific need. SE, for example, can fulfill certain needs that Nokia, HTC and Samsung cannot.

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS BELOW?
I just found this review from another website which is starting to prove my point but got a feeling its whatever software Vodafone are loading the thing with.

urgently requires acknowledgement and a fix
Now on my second Satio and the ringer and sound from media player still switch off randomly resulting in dropped calls. Microphone recording level is abysmally low and recording playback at full volume is barely audible.
Sony Ericsson and Vodafone say they haven't logged many complaints about this - but with 2 phones failing immediately, there is obviously an early software / design glitch with this model (at least versions with Vodafone software) which urgently requires acknowledgement and a fix.
