And you come here and say it is a BAD phone! I can't believe you, and all the SE fans can't believe this. SE made mistakes on the past, but this model can't be a bad phone.

hopefully se releases some new high end phones.
when I see new Lg phones i regret for shortage of variety in se phones.

SE has done it again; A very promising product and a total (almost) still born failure.
It's slow (reaction on commands), the touch screen is worse than my old P900 (a long story)
And the funniest thing keeps happening again and again, while using the Satio to browse pictures, or trying to use the movie feature PlayNow (scandinavian feature)where one has access to movies for download.
IT CRASHES...people, again ad again, and no matter what bad language I use, voodoo and black spells, I have to yank the batteries and reboot the f"#¤%& brick.
This one has to go back to the R&D dep. for serious upgrading. Software and hardware.
BUT..it does take great picture and video...
buy a camera, for the price of a Satio, you will get a real diamond

People keep saying how bad the audio quality is on video recording but looking at these videos it looks amazing.Maybe a little high sounding but still ok

GSMARENA REVIEW:
Main disadvantages
* Xenon flash is not adequately powerful
* The S60 5th edition UI isn't to the best in class standards
* No 3.5mm audio jack or a standard USB port
* No DivX or XviD support out-of-the-box
* No smart or voice dialing
* Playing flash videos in the browser easily depletes the available RAM
* No office document editing (without a paid upgrade)
* No stereo speakers
* No digital compass (magnetometer)
How about the 900mAh battery???????????

The audio quality of the Sony Ericsson Satio is a bit disappointing, considering its ultra high-end status. As seems to be the case with all Sony Ericsson handsets recently, the Satio achieved excellent scores on most readings but a disastrous frequency response.
Needless to say that with that kind of performance your favorite tracks won't sound exactly as they are meant to.˝

ABout Japanese phones, Sharp said they will enter to the European markets with smartphones! They probably will enter in America too. Panasonic will enter too on European markets with Android phones! :)

It's beaut... moreNokia N82 is an old model!!! :))
Recent models are much better - not only from Nokia.
There are several better phones than Satio!

not as smooth as on video....need a litle press on the screen....bit laggy....
omnia hd with latest fw seems more speedy....

I just bought this phone in Bucharest, Romania.
It's beautiful and the photos are wonderfull. It is strange that in the review posted by GSMArena team the photos are not so well made. Hmm!
i had until now Nokia N82 but this phone it is much better in all areas. I'm delighted!

Satio,Aino,and Yari were made by Japanese team of Sony Ericsson. That's why these brand names sound Japanese words.
There are more exciting mobiles in Japan.
I hope that Japanese mobiles are sold all over the world.

does anyone knows a reliable site that has enough enough information about kurara and susan ?
as it is mentioned in some sites that kurara is satio lite . and kurara is only 5 meg camera and maybe it could be an andriod phone .
so looking from the new sony ericsson policy side there wont be many mid range phones but as it seems that the 2 said phones are almost mid range .
i never understood these leakage informations that is emerging now and then for the sony ericsson mobiles , , they should stop this and stop allowing their employees to leak information out the company .
a good policy would be to announce a phone and to be on the market maximum in 2 months
