Have tried both the touchscreens? As the Idou has one of the best resistives from what I read. And SE always have good sounds and battery life so I doubt those points as well :) The video recording is true but I prefer better pictures.

i have i8910 & satio. i think i8910 is much better den satio :)
camera qual. is same in i8910 & satio
video recording is better in i8910
touch screen is much better in i8910
sound in headphone is better in satio
sound in speaker in much much better in i8910
screen in sunlight is poor in both phone
battery life og i8910 is better den satio
but lookwise satio is better den i8910

I think this is purely spitefull from the manufacturers side. And yes it is a problem to carry adapters around all the time, especially since the Satio is already so bulky with it's pregnant form factor.

Do you know if this new SE Satio has 'voice recognition' for tagging our contacts list from bluetooth??
Nokia has, but it is in such poor English that it is up to 50% wrong.
Samsung don't have it at all.. and never have -- which is just incredible.
Does SE Satio have it??

I also meant to mention another small problem that I find but again it may be normal with this handset.
I find the earpiece for calls not very clear and if you put the volume anymore than half way it crackles and distorts slightly.
Its still loud enough at half way so maybe this is normal but not sure so any advice would help

I wrote a review on this phone yesterday and could not say enough good things about it but still some things getting to me.
How can this 12megipixel camera still not beat my N95 for quality.Picture on screen lack colour in my opinion
Video is not as good as N95
Both are VGA so whats the problem>
I am not a Nokia fan by any means I have always loved Sony Ericsson and do love this phone in every other way but the reason you buy a 12mgpix camera is for it to be better than a 5 for pictures and video but not looking this way.

About plugging other 3.5mm headsets into the mic socket:
It that you say 'you cant use other headsets'.. as I plugged my logitech 3.5mm headset that I use on my laptop into the satio mic block and listened to the music, I'll see what it's like going to work and when I plug in the car audio 3.5mm input.
Some of you kids need to TRY before you give up.

3 guru, 16 Oct 2009The recording quality won't be massively more impressive th... moreit's not the processor that's the problem, it's not necessary for 1GHz on this handset - it's the software, iPhone 3GS and Omnia HD both run the same processor but their software makes more efficient use of the hardware - SE needs to release a software update soon if this is already lagging.

The Cnet.UK review is not so positive about Satio, apart the very nice camera they said all the rest is like 5800, means double tap in many menus,slow photo browser...I though SE has masterised S60v5 but it seems like it's not the case at all
While the i8910 is for S60v5 what HTC Touchflo is for WM,means much logical and easier UI

hey. I'm from India i just got a hands on review on the satio at the sony store. It felt good in my hand. A bit bulky. I'm using a 5800 . The satio is way bigger than this but weighs less. It doesn't feel solid though. But fit and finish was good. The camera was really impressive. Very fast start up-shoot and save time. The os looks completly different and the phone was really fast. The screen being resistitve wasn't the best around but way better than 5800 or even n97. And yes the camera and video quality was undoubtedly awesome. The phone comes only in black for India. And is now priced at 34.000... And one more thing. The phone isn't pocket friendly. Its like a brick. But stylish though. And yes the speaker output is almost as good as 5800. And video quality was good but no divx support yet. Fingers crossed. Cuz the 3.5'' screen was a joy to watch videos.
