The recording quality won't be massively more impressive than your N95 as they are both running VGA 30 fps... As stated previously with a digital zoom it really does lack the quality. I have used this handset though and it is very nice to use, alot of nice features. The only thing that really annoys me about SE is that they bring out these high tech symbian handsets with such potential and wonder why alot of their consumers complain about lag. There are now 1ghz proccessors available on the market and yet the only put in a 600mhz processor in this handset, so yet again hello freezing.

Anonymous, 16 Oct 2009 Dude - it has a converter block, housing the mic into wh... morewell.. actually it is quite an issue (but not that big as he say).. because, when u lose it then u cannot use the ordinary 3.5mm jack anymore, u need to buy the new 1 from SE.... if u forget to bring ur headset, then u cannot borrow from ur fren... that's the problem i have faced at least.. i hope se start to use 3.5mm jack...

Dude - it has a converter block, housing the mic into which you can plug what ever 3.5mm headphones into it.
In effect you can use your favorite 3.5mm jack headphones, with the mic.
Is it really that much of a issue for you ??

This phone look as if it is pregnant. And it does not have a 3.5mm jack (unforgivable, and enough reason not to buy the phone). If they get rid of the tummy fat and put in 3.5mm audio jack then it is a definite buy.

I got this phone yesterday as an upgrade on my contract and I've got to say, it is quite simply the best phone I have ever seen, let alone used, forget the iphone, this piece of kit IS the new must have phone, it is quite simply outstanding and well worth any kind of wait, I am a SE fan, my last phone was a C905, and tyhis knocks spots off anything anyone has produced, I have used the iphone and found it boring, slow and unuseable, and that as a mac user is a hard thing for me to say, but, quite frankly the iphone does not have the intuitiveness or features that this does and I've got to say that Nokia'sare boring and samey, Motorolas are just unusable and Samsungs must be an acquired taste because I have never liked them! Go and get this phone, if you take my advice, because you will LOVE it!! The pics are amazing and the touchscreen is so easy to use! Well done Sony Ericsson, TOP PHONE!!! :D

y everytime se took sooooooooooo loooooong to release phones in the market, se x1 took 10 months to released after its announcement, now happens to satio again, whats wrong with their company, come on se, learn something from samsung

This phone need 10 months to show up and N900 is almost around (dont mean to boasting on N900 but it sure a nice phone). If you have any complain about people saying some feedback then u can stop giving ur complain here and just buy ur goddamn phone.

Nice phone but... keep that VERY OLD port instead of a 3.5 audio jack...

Wow some of you GUYS can be the biggest babies. QUIT COMPLAINING! If you don't want to buy something, don't buy it, NOBODY is forcing you. You guys say these companies are experimenting with your money? OF COURSE! That's their job! Companies, especially public companies! are out there to MAKE MONEY. If you guys can't get that idea through your thick skulls, may the spirits above have the most merciless pity on our souls! I swear you guys need to just man up and stop the complaining. The phone is slowly releasing through eBay, the wait is tough but the phone is coming out, people are giving their honest input so its time to STOP ASSUMING AND GUESSING and time to start listening to the real reviews, or just buy your own, THEN you can say something.
And yes we all know that Iphone is the best and no mobile can currently compete but they can sure try, every other fact right now is subjective. Each phones have their strength and weaknesses, just accept it.
Jesus, you are all just a bunch of kids...QUIT COMPLAINING!

seriously.. i'm quite disappointed with se... used to be SE fans but not really now.. Idou takes too long to release. the other new model is not that interesting as the model is not much different from older 1.. SE tends to overprice the price.. I think SE need to put more effort or they will lose more of their fan..
