I had a quick go on this phone last Sat. Initial thought was just big and ugly it looked with the camera lens cover.
The feel of the thing was quite nice .. a bit chunky for a 2009 phone tbh. but it was like holding a nice bit of acrylic plastic. It was a nice screen, size wise and visibility.
BUT
I thought the UI looked a bit 'janet and john', the icons were uncustomised and big looking.. it didn't seem to ooze any sort of new UI feel, it just had the same icons as any other phone. I wanted to quickly test out the web via wireless but the shop didn't seem to have an free wifi area !
I hope to have another go at it this week when I'm not being rushed.

Im getting this phone (finally) tomorrow, still want to know if it has facebook applications on it though, I no the SE Aino does but does anyone know?!

If anyone has the phone yet, whats the touch screen like!?

- OLED screen (not important!)
- 16GB internal memory (you can use 32GB memory card)
- 3.5mm jack (you can use adapter and it's better)
- HD recording (VGA is not bad at all and it's better than nokia)
Satio is the best phone ..

Went it the Vodafone shop advertising this phone on there window,an nipped in to have alook at this mobile,its looks good but finger marks all over the screen so thats the only bad thing i saw,they showed me the menu an scrolling an looks o.k,an the let me take a photo an images were very good indeed,an then told can have for free on a £35 month contract so will give it thought wether to get this mobile or not,as with xmas not far off,more mobiles will be made available an the price might fall on this mobile

I've been waiting for this handset to be released for some time now to replace my Samsung i8510. Now I've actually seen one in the flesh the handset looks a lot more chunky than I imagined. iphone 3GS was my other alternative but seems dogged with poor signal issues.
The only other handset that appeals is the Omnia 2 even though it only has 5MP camera.
Satio seems to be the only handset that ticks all the boxes so still undecided. May get one and see how I get on in the first 14 days.

This mean, they will make phones with BIG internal memory. ABout OLED, OLED is not good at sunlight! ABout the battery, don't forget this battery is NOT Li-Ion, it is Lithium-Polymer!!! So, it is NOT the same thing, Li-Ion is NOT better than Li-Po! I hope Se will announce great smartphones at MWC. The X3 probably will be announced this month, or in November! And it is NOT a concept phone, like many people said it. :)

1000mAh Li-Po battery is not better than 1500mAh Li-Ion battery.

That is all!!! SE should be able to do it!
But as long as some... pay for an outdated model they will not do it.

samsung omnia hd has better features and better touchscreen thru latest fw udate.....and capacitive on omnia hd kick satio out of the arena...
