    What does it have, a resistive touch screen or a capacitive touch screen? Here is only written TFT touchscreen.

            I only want this phone for the simple fact it has a 12 mp camera and it's Sony Ericsson lol......but I feel the omnia HD is a better buy for offering really the same features if not more. Plus the satio is like $1000 after shipping and handling, not worth it knowing the n900 offers better usability and 5mp is more than enough

              I did :))) on 27˝ full HD monitor (full screen) The video fantastic!!!!!!

              I have a phone with HD video recording capability and there is no way I ever take a phone that can do only VGA!!!!!!

                I had the (mis)fortune of playing with this phone today. the design and tech is great but there are few niggles! 1. low video res - why????? Its a 12MP still it should be capable of at least 720P recording, a huge let down in my books. 2. Clunky interface - sometimes the screen could be slow and unresponsive and the icons did little to aid navigation. 3. screen isn't big enough ;) (joke)
                But all in all a phone worth buying but maybe its worth waiting for uk version of the samsung 12MP 3x optical zoom phone.
                If you don't like what i said dont troll me, its my opinion so you don't have to agree.

                  There are fans here keep saying next year next year next year - they have been saying this for years.


                  I think what matter what we got now! We can not make calls with promises :)))

                  SE promises a good phone for long time now.

                  Some hardcore fans keep waiting for years now andno result.

                  X1 was one of the last hope - it was a total failure. Now it took almost a year to release the Idou/Satio junk.

                  It is obvious to everyone that this will not be a different - another failure.

                  In 2009 nad in 2010, SE can not compete with an expensive phone that has:

                  - no internal memory!!!!

                  - TFT screen

                  - VGA video

                  - 1000mAh lousy Li-Po battery

                  This is limited every way!

                  The slogan ˝nlimited Entertainment˝ is true for the executives of SE but not for the customers.


                  So, SE fans started the new hype - next year! next year! new great phones on the horizon - :)))

                  Keep waiting! :)))) and the rest of us will be using great phones - unfortunately not made by SE!

                      The 12mp camera is totally useless!

                      5-8mp more than enough for normal size printing (A4, 8.5˝x11˝ )

                      Nobody prints posters from a image that was taken with a phone. The quality of the image would not allow it anyway. 12mp is not necessary means good quality.

                      For a large printable 12mp image, the phone would need much better lens, sensor and image processor circuit.

                      It is like having a 500W amplifier with a computer speaker. Distortion makes it totally useless.

                              SE obviously designed this phone to regain some of the market share they lost to LG, Samsung and Nokia. Because 80% of the market insists that the most important features they want is the lack of a 3.5mm jack, a 550 euro price tag, 12mp camera and a bulky construction.
                              Why SE is unable to put a 3.5mm jack into a phone is beyond me, but maybe they do it to win market share from Nokia (who knows?).For anyone that needs a 12mp camera this is the only real choice at the moment. I think SE and Motorola has a competition going between them to see who
                              can bring out the most models of phones that nobody will buy. At least all Motorola phones now come with 3.5mm jacks.

                                Rb, 12 Oct 2009I am thinking of ordering this phone for a few reasons one ... moredont waste a $1000 on that phone your n95 will keep up if not better in many aspects, wait 3 months it will be less than $500 bucks guaranteed

                                  I hope SE will integrate the Satio in the Theme Maker because if you wanna do them with nokia Carbide...:(

                                    I am thinking of ordering this phone for a few reasons one being the Cemera and video recorder.

                                    QUESTION FOR ANYONE THAT HAS THE PHONE- How does the video recording quality/Audio compare to my current phone Nokia N95 which is also VGA 30fps and exellent quality.

                                    Only video I could see on youtube was

                                    Quality looks not bad but not as good as Nokia N95 would I be right?

                                    I love Sony Ericsson phones and really want to return as a customer so if someone can please help I would really appreciate.

                                      i got this phone yesterday, the pictures are brilliant, the phone is like 7 out of 10 not as good as they make it out to be, no flash themes of animated wallpapers, se shame on you
