I do not thik anybody with his right mind would consider the X1 :)
after all the fiasco.
Even SE admitted that X1 is a failed product.
SE promised never let HTC make another model for them.
(lousy software, battery problems, cracked cases, hardware lockups etc.)
Idou is not released yet. So go for it! :)

I think they r capable of even OLED screens and bigger internal memory (technologically) but they need to cut costs as much as possible and maximize profit as much as possible so perhaps they chose to forsake the bigger internal memory - Samsung can do it cos they can afford it.

N97 is NOT a Satio competitor, N900 is. They are in different leagues. N900 has 1GB of virtual memory and 32GB internal memory. It's a monster :)

Why would I buy a 32 GB card if the phone has the processor to run 16/32 GB internal memory without any lag? N97 lags because it has a slower processor. SE could easily put more internal memory on this. If not 32Gb, 8/16Gb is good enough. But they didn't. So you will hear people talking about it.

But SE is for the whole world. If I took SE phones from every other part of the world, it means I have taken the happiness of the mankind. So sorry I can't do that. :(

that's absolute rubbish. the omnia HD doesnt lag.
it is all down to the proccessor. this phone has a capable proccessor so sony ericsson have no excuse

i have a better suggestion : you purchase all se mobiles in UAE market and import all their stock and give them for free in Dubai airport with a sim card to all new arrivals , and that would be a good idea to promote and support sony ericsson ,
