SE is so good that it is too good for the people :))))
that is the reason SE unable to sell or make ANY profit!

not that this satio will not be good..
but i always like to jump the first gen... lol
second gen is usually better cause the mistakes of the first are deleted...
we all know this is true!
meaning if there is a satio 2 it will prolly be my choice..
but falling back in to the reality..
for now i really have my eye on this one.... let's see how it goes.. when it comes out!

These are the facts:
¨Sony Ericsson has not been doing too well lately. Loosing hundreds of millions of dollars each quarter, with each quarterly report getting grimmer and grimmer.
And, knowing the line of products SE had for sale these few months, the coming quarterly report tomorrow is bound to be not much better.˝

These rep/Pr guys are really something :)))
Since February, they have been talking about big announcements - in May etc.
Nothing can happen from an announcement!
Product will not be shipped or sold!
In May, the huge announcement was that Idou was renamed Satio - that makes a huge difference?
The model is still the same. It is still not available and it has still some lousy specs!
So kepp your ears to the ground - and dream, dream and dream on!

It's indeed one splendid effort from SE and I wish them good luck. But there are things that are missing in Satio and we talked about it for so long. Those could have made Satio the best.

(btw i do actually own an innov8)
and i know standard definition normally is VGA and so HD videos wouldnt show up, but the choice is always there. I think most people would upload videos onto the computer if they knew they wre getting tham at 720p. and okay, if VGA is so great, then you can turn the omnia down to VGA if you wanted it.
but the choice for HD is always there...
and yes the satio is a better looking handset, but otherwise the omnia just trumps it in every department

All we are saying that on a mobile screen VGA and HD does'nt make much difference and believe me pal most of the users who record video on mobiles only play there videos on mobiles, for serious recording everyone has a handycam. And you cannot even use the tv out function for your hd content in omnia hd, its for standard definition only.
I simply cannot understand that why you and kal are so against this set when its indded one splendid effort from SE. Are you jealous??what is the reason of your stubborness?? Its much better than your oh so precious nokia phones, has nokia even announced such a great set??in fact nokia is producing the crappiest phones for a long time now. I know you nick..you always favored nokia but now when nokia is lagging far behind SE you are taking sides with samsung just to proove that SE sets are not good. Don't be so stubborn, Satio is a great device and your lame objections are nothing but a waste of time.
If you don't like Satio then just go to your beloved omnia hd pages.
I repeat..aprat from hd recording Satio is much better device than Omnia hd..Satio even looks way better than HD, its more popular as you can see for yourself, more people are eagerly awaiting for this set while omnia hd is out and not many people even care that it has been released.
If you just forget your bias for a moment then you will realize that Satio has everything you need, Great camera, superb sound, big and very responsive touchscreen, great video, fast processor...what more do you need?
Even without HD recording Satio is way better than omnia hd and the interest of people in it clearly shows which is the winner. people need good camera more than they need a video recorder, if you cannot understand it then its your problem. Keep on whining.
