Miguell026, 26 Jun 2009well between those 2 pics posted previously is hard to tel... morecome on be real, wake up and smell reality the image quality of the samsung is leaps above the sony, and i happen to like the sony, but i am a professional photographer and the sony falls short.

well between those 2 pics posted previously is hard to tell.. but the one from satio seems to have a more natural tone...
still it would be necessary more pictures to decide whos the best!

im not gunna say this phone is bad because its not but i think sony has to focus on the important think is their phone software i mean they are alwy trying to juice their camera up thinking they will get more sales but look at nokia they are the best example great cameras amazing software all in all BUY A NOKIA!

as for capacitive touchscreen ...it's already responsive with resistive touchscreen and it won't harm this phone if it was capacitive or resistive touchscreen as long it's very responsive ..
and as for battery 1500mAh well it will be nice but hey no hand-set is perfect ..

Needs to have capacitive touchscreen, larger battery (at least 1500mA), and at least 256MB internal RAM to be the near perfect device!

I've been a user of Sony Ericsson before Ericsson merged with Sony and I'm faithful to the brand as it's always performed.
I currently have an SE P1i and it's without a doubt the best phone I've ever bought, but it's not nearly as advanced as the new Satio.
The only other brand I've ever used is Samsung, but I'm an Ericsson user since '96 and always will be.
I can't stand Nokia or Apple and I'm itching to get my hands on the gorgeous new Satio so I can rub it in everyones faces.
Oh yes, they will be envious and many people will pay well deserved attention to SE after this release.
Go Sony Ericsson and Go Satio.

those japs don't play around... they are really betting on this Satio!
still there are people complaining about the 3.5mm jack.. why in hell i need jack for?
i don't use jack for ages CAUSE i listen to music on my SE using SE earphones!
3.5mm jack in a cellphone? if those japs don't put in there then is it not needed!
and despite satio being a smartphone .. playstation phone.. walkman phone.. cybershot phone... radio..tv...ETC-> u still hitting " oh i wont buy it cause it has no 3.5mm output" then ur a loser... honestly... and it will be prolly to much expensive for ur pockets anyway!
SE satio is a mean bad machine.. does not need 3.5mm jack to sell! SE it self provides their great Wireless earphones! tho i sure prefer wire ones!
honestly.. we are in the 21st century.. ! i never did need such a 3,5mm jack output on a cellphone!
tho i agree with the battery part.. 1000mA\h which is 1 amp. per hour seems a bit " not enough" but hey this review was made basing on a prototype.. who knows till then...

don't you see that most of new hand-sets coming with 1000mAh battery ??
Satio,Pixon12,LG Viewty2,LG GD900,Samsung S5600v and LG GM730 even Samsung S8000 Jet with 1100 mAh...
i think in new hand-sets' battery they going to make less mAh but with much effect ..
like 1000mAh = lets say 1300mAh

Judging from the design of the Satio, I would say not having a 3.5mm jack is a good thing, even if they wanted to put a 3.5mm jack, where would they even put it? it would kind of ruin the design of the phone.
Just be happy with the headphone jack they put in the package. If you don't like that there is no 3.5mm jack, then just leave it, its not like its the end of the world.

Mobilemaster, 26 Jun 2009This is the final name! Satio! Idou was the concept name.Yes, that's correct! Satio and also Aino, Yari, Naite, C901 Greenwhatever, and T715 have been listed in SE homepage as the coming soon phones. All will be running with those names.

ever since i am using SE phones and it's really the best among other mobile brands and when i saw this model SE Satio (Idou)... i was so amazed and now im eager to have it soon. So i need to know the price!
