the only thing this phone lacks is 3.5 mm headset jack .. otherwise its awesome !

i just read pixon12 preview and saw pixon12 image sample...the image sample has the same quality as innov8 but pixon12 has more color than innov8.do you remember that satio is much...much...better than innov8? yes, satio is the best even it is a smartphone, a playstation phone,a walkman phone, a camera phone, the first nHD gaming phone and use omap 3430 and the best headset..and according to gsmarena, satio vga video is the best for the catagory...
satio is the best for me!YES!

im a fan of nokia.but not because it is NOKIA, but because of the SYMBIAN. hope this phone will do great in it functionality. and i hope lots of software that i used now in my nokia phone also can be install into satio. SE, u mke me fall in love with you!

HELOO GUYS
I HV NOTICED THT in sony phones fourm lot of people comes like fool samsung fan boys, fool nokia fanboys etc etc
and make lots of comments against sony as if they r always under some threat from SONY
but no sony fan is seen in samsung fourm or nokia fourm bcoz
we know SONY is best they also know this tht's y feel attracted to sony and come here but never accepts this fact
we sony guys dont go there bcoz there is all sh*t
CONCLUSION: SONY IS BEST AND CENTRE OF ATTRACTION every one want it but some cant afford and some r too loyal fools .

The fans were waiting for the huge announcement in May and what came out? - change of the model name - very smart from SE. They can pull a few more stunt!

Idou for 1000 USD is ridiculous.
Anyway, it does not matter. In developed countries after a few weeks it will be offered for FREE with a cheap contract.
X1 was and it is still offered and nobody takes it.
Too buggy!
SE needs to come up something much better than Idou.
12mp camera is not that hot anymore. By the time of release it will be even less attractive.
It takes a few minutes to realize that 12mp is practically not needed - good quality of image is more important than resolution.
for me and for many others the 1000mAh lousy battery will be the deal breaker!
Idou will not be taken for free with these features.
But, even that case. To give it away for FREE with a contract - the service provider can not pay more than 250-300 USD for Idou since the contracts are so cheap. On that price SE can not make much profit:
REMEMBER - it will not be SE who will make IDOU!
SE has to contracted out! like almost all of its models!

I hope SE will survive this crysis but the CEO says that the joint venture need 100 millions to stay on flot and I just hope that the X2 will not disapoint neither the android X5. :)

Nokia was in serious trouble to and hey.. is still around!
if sony ericsson IS indeed that bad.. (with i doubt) maybe is time to become.. just sony! bye bye ericsson!
remember there are many brands out there that are not likely to please the general public but they are still alive.. why should SE go down if the other wont?
BUT if things get really nasty maybe sony will let SE to die if after this things don't go better... witch is not likely to happen!
anyway it is expected to the global recession to stop soon in the next 6 to 9 months!

in fact 4 gb is not that big of a deal anymore.. when we add all those videos.. pictures.. games... and tons of music... 4 gb is nothing really..
u can fill up ur phone with 2 gb of music and images with ease nowdays! imagine now with videos and pictures u'll have in there...
i hope they make a basis of 8gb... seems more balanced for this kind of phone!
still im worried.. its their first touchscreen phone... it hope it has the expected success so they have legs to move on to Satio gen2 or whatever they have in mind...

Miguell, 25 Jun 2009well i would say satio is impressive on the photographic s... moreas far as the HD in samsung omnia hd is just usable in the recording and recording playback and nowhere else it's just a FAKE as for the sound dolby fake and DNSE which is SONY's DSEE chinese like copy...
But SE is disapointing givin up on the internal memory war while they had 8gb instead of keepin it or makin it grow because consumers still not understand that with an 4 gb u have the same capacity of memory as if you had a DVD...

well i would say satio is impressive on the photographic section.. 12mp and all cyber shot tech in there...
at video level is not that bad... not hd but who needs it right? dont need "memory eating" hd videos...
but i wonder.... how will the other 12mp phones from other brands be? the main focus on this satio is the 12Mp cam and touchscreen! video is not a main focus here.. and at sound level.. they dont go much into it...
i believe satio WIll be good BUT as we ALL know.. the first one is always the "most defective one" and that the second "baking" brings a better cake.. but a SATIO gen 2 is still a dream...
remember this is the first touchscreen with so much tech added from SE ( i believe..)
and we all know the first one is more like a "not to do and what to do" lesson in technology... the second always comes better...
none the less... this satio is impressive...

HTC is HTC Sony Ericsson is Sony Ericsson.:) I agree the internal memory isn't enough, but the phone is not completed yet, believe me, believe us ok?:) If you put 32 Gb internal memory, the phone probably will be slow. Look at the N97, is slow!
