if you are a sonyericsson lover, please don't touch this waist, useless phone, this is a fully NOKIA options.realy i lost my sonyericsson hopes from this fone. but the camera is ok.

boomi, 09 Nov 2010if i bought the sony ericsson sation in usa is it working p... moreThe GSM bands used are the same in USA and India. But the 3G frequency bands are totally different. Hence I would suggest that you not buy it from the US. Instead buy it from India itself.The street price when I bought it 5 months ago was Rs.26000. Now it should be lesser.
I think if you bring a phone from US the basic functions might work but you wont get 3G etc. Also since there are some hardware changes, the service centers here might not be able to help you in case any troubles arise.

But the best camera happens to be the one you have in your pocket when the photo moment comes. This is one aspect the satio has always won in.

Is there any one, a satio user who had installed free isms v1.10? OMG!!! don't you dare waste your time guys visit mobile9 or daily mobile forum or opda forum and download it it's perfect for satio! it sounds like i will not stop sending messages because of this which i thought having 1.08 or 1.09 versions would be enough!!! hey anyone got this problem on their satio...i kept my phone for charging after that i listened to music..then i went and i slept when i got up in the morning i found the sony erricson white screen and the red led light on tried pressing the power switch but nothing is happening..removed the battery for long time and tried to switch it on but still phone is showing the same white screen and red led light and phone does not get switched on...tried reinstalling the latest fw again but still getting the same problem...plz i need some help on this....

Well based on my experience using this phone, i can rate this 8 from 1 to 10.
although this is a cool phone, there is still some problem,.
1. Battery - they put BT-33 type battery which is small and can last for 24hrs for a normal usage. The SE should studying about the battery life matter.
Unlike the other Touch Screen phone w/ 3.5inch LCD it has bigger battery for long time usage.
2. Display - it is not sunlight capable, unlike SE C901 and C905 Sunlight legibility is excellent, even under direct sunlight when you using this phone. I getting hard on taking pictures when sunlight comes, and even texting messages on Satio, bcoz the LCD display is not a sunlight legibility.
If only Ericsson put this two, this phone getting much better, yet could be an Excellent phone.

So it's natural that n8 will perform better than n8.
I would have considered n8 a winner if nokia would have launched that phone along with satio.
But nokia didn't bcoz it takes nokia many years more to create same technology.
