Moreover, i have never seen u said any good points of the Idou, even 1 point. When the Idou has 12mp camera, u said its lousy, noisy,... So how many mp camera do u need? I really dont understand u! And one more, u said g900, c902, x1,... are ugly. I 1 2 ask u if u have ever used those phones. Have u tried all them? Ur answer must be not. So what u wrote u dont HATE SE is not true, u really detest se for sure!
If u r a real man just answer my questions!

We know SAgem makes phones for SE and sold technology to SE.

SE is very sensitive about the issue of SAR value!

You are correct!!!!

They hate to admit, but it is the law to make it public. They are good to hide them.

SE phones have pretty high SAR values!

I do not hate SE!
I would love to have a great SE phone!

We had one in the family years ago and it still works fine. An antique.

But SE started to make lousy phones based on hypes.

Unreliable ones with lousy specs.

And the customer service? Better not to talk about.


No hatred but disappointment. Again and again.

G900, C902, W890, X1 all big big disappointments!

HD prototype now as fast as iphone even faster..no lags and accurate touch capacitive like iphone..

Idou's can't match HD,,and idou has significant inferior:

Old 3.5inch tft
Old resistive
Old lousy fastport
Old 1000mAH
Old vga/d1 rec
Old fastpord audio port
No tv-out coz no 3.5mm
No fm transmitter too
No giant memory
Small 128mb ram (why it can't make hd video)
Brick thick phone
As usual high SAR like 80% of se phone
No proximity sensor
Low signal reception like 80% of se phone
No usb port
No scratch resistant screen
Made by poor se vendor

That's idou,overhyped dirty strategy from sony ericsson

And bad customer service..

1: battery lifespan

2: resolution (screen)

3: ring volume

4: sound quality

5: internal memory

6: reception

7: playback time

8: OS speed

9: external memory

10: video resolution

11: video refresh rate

...etc.

So unlimited right? :)))))

I wish SE would start making decent phones. But, the slogan tells everything - another meaningless PR slogan, no substance behind it.

Without specs, without the specs requirement these slogans are meaningless.

THX has a meaning becuse there are strict requirements - but SE just talk no requirements and most specs are not even public.


Most walkman phones THD is not released!!!!

Basic tech data!

You need to search for SAR values.

High quality? What makes it high? SE does not like these questions!

Personally I think this is going to be an amazing phone. This is more like a camrea trying to be a phone, because from what I can tell the thing looks like its based off the new DSC-T900 Cybershot camrea Sony popped out not to long ago. Personally I love it and even though I've never owned a SE before, This maybe my first one, depeneding on the price. Besides I need something better to take to concerts (my 8900 Curve SUCKS!!!! camrea wise at least)

- TFT outdated screen - OLED is the current tech

- 1000mAh batter! bad joke! - min. 1600 mAh needed with TFT screen - drains too much power

- lousy 12mp camera (small, crowded sensor: noisy distorted image!!!)

- 15-18mm thickness


So how many PR announcement will be before any data will be available.

But, what we already know is enough to see that this model is another fiasco for SE.


But lets get back to Idou:

Hey everyone. :) My exam is coming up so i will not be able to post here until the 29th of may. Regarding all enquiries which might arouse, please allow me to answer it in advance.

1. Idou will be out and start to be shipped to every corner of the globe in october with november being it's fall back date.
2. The price of idou is estimated to be around 500-750USD as according to se's marketing manager, it will be priced so that mid-income individuals can afford it.
3. According to my intuition, idou will definitely be using li-po battery with 1300-1500mAh as it is a high end phone and we've witnessed se using excellent battery for all their high end products.
4. Regarding idou's camera, all i can say is it will most likely(i say 80 percent) be using EXMOR sensor with BIONZ engine/processor along with HIGH QUALITY LENS.
5. Yes, it will definitely have clear audio experience and full flash internet browser as it is one of the product under the umbrella of entertainment unlimited.
6. The touch display of idou will probably be resistive as it proves to be more robust but it may also be capacitive, depending on what area se is trying to focus on.
7. Don't take idou prototype as a final unit to be compared with other phones as it's only 30 percent on that stage. The final unit will only be completed around sometime in september.
8. Finally and also the MOST important part. Never insult idou or any other phones as every phone have their pros and cons. Until now, no phone on earth is perfect but there are those which are near perfection.

another 3 months and the 3rd announcement will come?

Does SE plan to release this model anytime soon?

It took SE to release the X1 a year after the full announcement :))))
And X1 was piece of cake compare to Idou. Symbian and 12mp camera and no factory etc. problems.
and the battery !!! :)))

Lets hope for May 2010!

By that time Iphone HD, Viewty 3, Omnia HD2 will be out.

I will be cool. I can wait! :)))))
