Idou is the project name for the first phone model. The focus for this project and the promis behind it is “Unlimited entertainment”. It is much more than just picture and music functions, for instance games, social networks or "complete video services "says Sony Ericsson’s german product manager Steffen Grosch.
it says here that it will be MUCH MORE then JUST A PICTURE or MUSIC FUNCTIONS..
so we going to expect more from IDOU

once more, my information is not my imagination but i have many sources like official site and my friend.
yes, there is no exmor word in the site but it doesnt mean idou doesnt use 12MP exmor, does you?

Kal, 07 Apr 2009Weather Idou will use IMX060PQ or IT OMAP 3430 is a BIG que... moreyeah that is your problem but not for me coz iam very confident about it and i dont push anyone to believe me.if iam wrong iam not sad coz i just give it 85%.iam not god who knows everything 100% but as a human i can try to believe my self with a knowlegde based what i have, my information is not my imagination...you can get idou spec separetly. for example :
1. you can get an information about idou use OMAP 3430 graphic chip on the graphic chip site,wikipedia and the other site then you can see the graphic chip function.
2. why am i very confident that idou will use EXMOR cmos coz there is an official statement from sony that their new 12MP cmos sensor will be used on SE cybershot phone in 2009 and there is no other CMOS sensor has pixel as much as 12MP right now in world and in fact, idou uses 12MP camera with small camera similar with 12 MP EXMOR sensor size.

Updates from SE Germany says it will be available during October-November. No news about its Exmor though.!!!

How do you expect people to talk about good things of IDOU unless we know for sure that it will use that image sensor or cam module? Come on! We can always praise Exmor but until we know that idou will have exmor I don't know about others but to me this is nothing extraordinary. Got my point!?

indra, 07 Apr 2009oh ok, i wont give any information about idou anymore as lo... morejust ignore what people judged about you. idou just still a concept.., and everythings we are talking about it here are only rumours ( & humors), nobody here had giving us an accurate infos of the real idou. in this situation we are just debating what will idou like when the time it comes out. and the most stupid thing is some of them had compared the specs of this unreal idou with other unreal phones like n86, n97 or hd or whatever they compared with, all are not have final specs yet, and then gave us the final conclusion of their comparation like : this phone crap, dont buy this phone, i'd rather go to bla bla bla, 12mp is useless for a phone, the battery, 3.5mm jack, etc etc etc; these guys had testing ghost phones in their ghost lab, then posted the result of their ghost tests. nobody cant make you silence just because rumours. keep posting any information you have 'cause it is still better than reading stupid comments that irrelevant to this topics ma fren.

iam sure you already know that SONY has annouced it officially that their new 12MP exmor sensor(IMX060PQ) will be used on SE cybershot phone in 2009 and only SONY EXMOR cmos sensor has the highest pixel as much as 12MP for phone and there is no other CMOS sensor can have 12MP at the moment in the world so of course idou use 12MP camera from exmor, the next is samsung then LG.
about IT OMAP 3430 you can find the news on wikipedia officially or MWC article about texas instrument IT OMAP 3430.you can see OMAP 3430 function that it can help a phone to record HD video and idou uses this OMAP 3430 graphic chip

dont result final idou quality with idou prototype spec. it is not fair.idou is the first phone of entertaiment unlimited umbrela.it is diff with the other previous SE phone.

there are still no official statement from se.dont get us hoping, i mean, if what you said is not true, many of us will be disappoint. and rather buying this, some se fans might buy the omniahd because of the disappointment.

i dont act as if i knew everything about idou..once more, my information source is from official site or from my friend who works in SE(internal) and i will tell you about idou what i have (of course, i dont push you to believe me, my information is not 100% like gsmarena said in their spec site)even i have known idou information before gsmarena coz i have good relation with SE and gsmarena guys dont realize me who iam.gsmarena guy is human like us so they have weakness too as a human.they are not God who knows everything 100%.
my comments are not my imagination. iam not like you, you always try to compare idou quality with previous SE phone quality by your assumtion. iam sure u know that idou is a new phone with new developer and manufacture even SE it self said idou is just beginning, the idou is the FIRST phone of entertaiment unlimited umbrela, dont you read it or are you blind ? and you know that only EXMOR sensor can have 12MP for phone at the moment and there is a official Sony statement that their 12MP exmor sensor will be used on SE cybershoot phone in 2009.idou is a 12MP camera phone.
you just compare a phone quality with that or this phone bla..bla..but you forget the SE statement.SE knows their phone better than you.
iam not a crazy SE fanboy, it means if the idou doesnt have good final product spec so i must accept that and i will say samsung HD is better.iam not blind.
