What's wrong if se made by sagem? Sagem is a good France company just like others European companies with strength of quality control on their products. If se asked other manufacturer to made their phone, it was se itself to choosing the material that used on it. Quality control was under their supervision.
Same happened with nokia products which was built in china. They had diff quality compared to original china brands products. These because nok didnt want to loosing their company image from their products. Nokia established their factory in china for low cost investments, not for low quality ones. And even nok had also shipped their 'finished in china' to their homeland called Finland.
So if se phone was made by sagem we should proud that it was 'made in france', not 'made in china' that we always doubtful about them.

about S001, you are right S001 uses exmor sensor too but not IMX060PQ(12MP).S001 uses 8MP exmor sensor that was shipped in NOVEMBER 2008 and the lens module was out in FEBRUARY 2009 so S001 already has many picture samples for it camera quality.you can read this in official sony site and also S001 doesnt use IT OMAP 3430 or other graphic chip to suppord hd or full HD video so S001 cant record HD video though the S001 EXMOR can record HD video. IDOU is a diff phone with S001..if idou doesnt use IT OMAP 3430 i doubt idou can record HD video but in fact, idou use it, for what ? of course it can support recording HD video...
In other word,for me 85% idou can record HD video at least and 15% cant record hd video.

i know it is a fairly good battery but because of the screen and camera aill it drain in like four hours with constant text and photo taking?

HD capabilities of any sensor does not need to be fully used. It requires processing power (battery) and circuitry.
As far as the battery :))) You are just pat...tic.
1000mAh given. But you are sure :)))) it will be different - based on nothing.
Why don´t you look at the G900 or W890 - not too old models and total failures.
and X1 with its lousy hardware - slow and buggy.
Keep up your hopes but you will be shocked.

-i know that exmor can record HD, but if ever idou will use exmor, like what ive said, i dont think it will be using the hd technology. maybe in idou2.. like what SE said, idou is just the beginning. DO YOU WANT SOME EXAMPLE? S001, a cybershot phone from SE, is using exmor but no HD! but still im hoping for idou to have HD.
-about what you said, the reason why SE has no word on exmor in idou... that is plain stupid. s001 was already there, even before march!

it is realy a big d... moreyou said "why is SE has no words on it ?" coz Exmor sensor it self will be shipped on march and the new lens will be shipped on september also the symbian os it self is not complete yet so that is why SE didnt tell us about idou spec or didnt allow us to use idou at mwc..there was no idou spec at the time till now...
why am i sure that idou will record HD video at least ? coz according to SONY that IMX060PQ will be used on SE cybershoot phone in 2009 and if you read about IMX060PQ key spec in official sony site there is no option for QVGA, VGA or wvga resolution video but only 720p@30fps and 1080p@27fps options and this idou will use TI OMAP 3430 that can help a phone to record HD or full HD video and also there is no other CMOS sensor has 12MP for phone except CMOS sensor from SONY exmor at the moment and the next is samsung then LG so of course idou use IMX060PQ (12MP cmos sensor)
idou will also have diff manufacture quality than previous SE phone quality included the material and design quality. In other word, idou is new, everything is new...
there is no a white paper for idou right now,there is no full spec for idou right now so what you see at gsmarena is idou prototype spec included the baterry problem and iam sure the battery will be increased and fixed when final product spec is out like samsung HD did before...
iam glad that the idou camera can be used at full quality coz it has 28mm wide-angle lens ,xenon flash and high resolution quality and camera option from EXMOR like super steady shot ect wow it is perfect!
idou will use SE music tecnology like clear audio and clear bass which are the winner of EUROPE music tecnology award...
idou is great!!!
