Have to be realeased with new walkman and cyber-shot applications and support flash and java scripts, be as or more entertaining as the iphone and become available as soon as posible because the competitors won't wait.

Ok we all know the Idou is the phone to get but how much will it cost. I wanna keep my £35 contract but then how much is the phone gonna cost me. Ill be wating till xmas to get it for free :(

"Just because this phone has a 12MP camera doesn't make it good. Hell it looks ugly and way too big! It's a shame when a a phone has a 12mp camera but it cant do HD video recording hahahahah!!!"
think about it , is a phone is not a videorecorder and sony always stay bad at the video recording but any way how much do u record with a phone ?

Afterall, you cant compare touchphones with a classic slider.
One who wants a classic keypad will not consider touchscreen, and the opposite.
Between omnia HD/idou,ideou is, for me, better, because if you compare HD video/oled with a 12Mp/xenon/open source symbian as highlits of the devices over one another, the outcome seams clear to me.
Who needs 12Mp? I say, if they are there - why not? For some really special moments and scenes, any extra megapixel is more than welcome to have.
Who needs HDvideo?
Ok, but lets not forget one thing - hte thing eats up the phone's memory!
The whole omnia's memory combined, is not enough for a hour of recording!
So, idou wins. He would win mere with the xenon and more advanced operating system allready

I think Idou is the last resort of SE.. any1 for Iphone? Ohh by the way, SE is selling mobile divisions to ME coz they're going to expire soon.. plz buy this phone for your collection as the last product they're going to make..

Sony Ericsson, please release this in 2009 summer at the last and keep the price below 750$!!!

12 Mpx camera sounds good but what cameraphones really need is BETTER FLASHES. Indeed 99% of people won't use the extra definition a 12 mpx provides over a 5 mpx (and it'll eat up more memory space and slow transfer speeds) WE NEED MUCH MORE POWERFUL FLASHES with the option to force them in daylight (for backlit subjects or faces in the shade). When the flash is sorted then we can improve lens quality and offer an optical zoom

this phone is actually has an hd recording capabilities and much better than samsun omniahd look! this phone has actually an 1080i for 27 fps and 720p for 30fps
