t610 sony,i bought this phone for my always whinging 12yr old daughter,it seems like it has a fault with the sounds,when you go into sound menu,click on sound,play..it should say stop,but still displays play,i have a t630 so it should be the same,has anyone had this fault,help....my daughter is doing my head in now as she always does..want want want..trouble is she gets her way,cheers,paul.. westminster1964@aol.com

please a word of advice what ever you buy DO NOT buy this phone!!!!! it can be very seducing with all its looks and you are bound to think initially its a great phone !!!!! but wait till you ve used it for abt a week ! thts more than enough to knock the living hell out of you with this phone.it has countless number of bugs!!! its soooooooooooo slow. texting is really really hard.the memory is only 2 MB and that takes away all the nice things you think you can do with the phn.bcos for some bizzare reason the photos that you take from this gets recorded as about 60 or 70 kb. which is really weird bcos normally its abt 15 kb from any other phn. so basically you can store only abt 7 or 8 of your pics. JEEEEEz what is that ? the phone restarts almost at every turn. its really pissing the hell out of me now!!! the battery lasts maximum 1 and a half days. and mind you this is not bcos ive got a defective handset. almost all T610 phones give this trouble.just go to some other review site and see for yourself.in my opinion this is the owrst camera phone ever.you cant take a photo at low light conditions.its impossible. the night mode is really a big gimmick.but more than anything its soooooo slow.the software has sooo many problems.so really what ever the phone youre going to buy please count this one out..thank you and hopefully you'll do yourself a favour and look elsewhere...

Seriously? I would recomment this handset to anyone. It is small, light, well designed and packed with features, such as Bluetooth, WAP, Camera, picture phonebook etc. Excellent handset.

True I tried the phone at

and the screen was too dark..
and the lady simulation on the phone couldnt hear me..
So yeah bad rf reception.. And they call dropped out as well..
Bad phone..
I recommend the Motorola c650.. the Nokia 3200 or the Nokia 3100 instead..
I actually highly recommend the becuase it is the same price.. but its a new phone the bugs havent poped out yet.

I love this phone! I've had it for over a year, dropped it countless times (even into a toilet) and it still works great! The metal encasing is nice because without it I'm sure my phone would have broken by now. The only problem I experienced is the sound went down a little and isn't as loud as it used to be.

Hi,
I just purchased the phone, and I started takeing some photos with the camera. I sent a picture to a Samsung E700 phone, and the person received the MMS. I tried several times to send some pictures (through MMS) to a Nokia 6230, but it didn't work... I dont' understand why.. can anyone tell me what's wrong?
The pictures taken were not very big in size (11-12 kb) and both phones (my T610 and the Nokia 6230) have the right settings for MMS use... Please help... Thanks.

Just not the best fone yet.. It got no radio fm feature.. Too bad.. My nokia 2300 keeps me entertaining due to its radio all the time and its cheap.. Way cheaper than this one!!!

Hi, I too got the addictive SE. Initially getting used to SE is far more difficult and you fear to let it out to others. But it is a good phone. In contrast to others complaing about bad n/w catching ability, it was good than my previous Nokia. Only glitch is it is a bit complicated , uses lengthy procedure for sms'ing .
but carrying it makes a big impression...Ask me

I think the phone is great,good looking and good price(at this price u can get from nokia only a 6100...).the bad thing is the SMALL memory...2mb....too small, and th resolution of the camera...not even VGA. the conectivity is gr8 too...the infrared works properly with lots of phones and notebooks...
if u don't care about it's camera and memory...is a good business phone....if u're a multimedia addept....don't buy it...

My camera in T610 is not working. Has anyone had the same problem. if so do let me know how u solved it
