No, the screen doesn't flicker when idle... for my that is.. but it does when it's loading 'Mophun' and while connecting a call... I feel it's somethign to do with the processor usage or something.

About sending midis and pictures to Nokia phone, it's not the T610's fault. If you try sending it to other phones like Siemens and to PDAs like Palm Tungstun and Pocket PC, you'll send easily..
It's just a known issue with two main brands... Nokia and Samsung.. both these phone brands (Symbian OS not incuded) cannot receive or send anything from IR without their software other than ONE business card. Yes, the IR on the T610 is on the top black part.. on the left side (opposite the power button)

t610 is small and... beautifull..handsome.. but lacks of memory, screen not readable in sunshine ourdoor..difficult sometimes to catch freq 900... but on the whole it is good stuff..memory for pictures/sounds is not sufficient...that s the main prblm.

Thanks for the reply buddy. I am will try and get the bluetooth adapter soon. I noticed a small flaw today, the screen flickers when Idle ?
Also, I tried sending a picture and a ringtone from the T610 to my Nokia phones and it failed. I believe the IR is on the top part of the phone ? What am I doing wrong ?
Thanks in advance.

Go to that site.. combine the address together...
T610 wins.
All the extras the 7250i has over the 7250 are already standards in the T610.
Better screen.
Better MMS.
Better Polyphonic.
Better connectivity (actually sends stuff via IR)
Better menu
Better picture phonebook
Better built quality.
Things the 7250i is better at.
More memory
Camera can be argued to be better. But slightly.
About T610's memory issue.
If you have a Bluetooth enable PDA, there is not Memory issue then.
Just keep sending stuff to the PDA via bluetooth. No software required.
