Camera, the 3650 has a larger lense which produces better images. The T610's camera isn't very good. Can still see what you're taking and all, but not the best.
About screen being hard to see under sunlight, it's harder than usual.. but not impossible.. can be seen...
First time might seem very hard.. but you'll get used to it.. now I see mine easily under the sun.. no problems...
About the T610 vs the ST55...
First, to shed some light about the ST55 and if anyone is assuming it's like other siemens phone.. it isn't.. It's created by some other manufacturer but only bearing the Siemens name... that's why it's design is so different from the original Siemens product line..
The ST55 has a better screen (TFT) and higher res camera (640x480)...
The menu on the ST55 is very plain. Compare the menu of the ST55 to the T610 and you'll see what I mean.. for a TFT screen, should have better use of screen...
No Java.. no IR.. no Bluetooth.. only way to transfer data is via Cable..
Memory not dynamic... you think the T610's 2mb is small. .this is smaller

I was going to get the SIEMENS ST55......Im so glad I didnt...the concept of the SIEMENS ST55 is nice but the design of it is as good as it gets. I had a demo in the orange phone shop and it wasnt really that great (technical wise)...No Bluetooth...No Infared...No built in camera..the keypads are really small and unless u have tiny fingers you will find it hard to write text messages. What i do like about the phone is sliding front...nice. The picture quality is really poor..looks like more 256 colours thats its 4056 which i think it has.
The T610 on the otherhand is just so much better. Thats all you need to know!

Beth, I guess those moaning must be from anti-SE people.
It isn't large at all. About the size of the T68i and 7250i. Actually smaller than the 7250i.
I think it's quiet a nice phone.. suits both girls and guys... if you want a brick.. look at the P800 and 9210i =P

So much for Thailand.. that's why!..
Should had made it in Malaysia or China.. better work-man-ship =)..
@gt2clubsport
There are three ways you could get data from the phone to the computer.
-Cable (will only work for Sony Ericsson and Ericsson phones)
-IR Port (can work for other devices, but needs Line of Sight and slow)
-Bluetooth (better alternative, both fast and freedom to move)
=)...
I reccomend using an USB Bluetooth Adapter... I'm using one now by Billionton, works great. Can get files from my computer using my phone without even having to touch the computer.
Simple 'Click & Drag' function. You want a theme, click and drag it into the phone and it'll be transfered.

Consumer recall alert.
"Sony Ericsson has identified a fault with one of its UK 3-pin CST-13 phone chargers and, as a precautionary measure, has activated a process to have all potentially failing units returned. The charger is manufactured in Thailand by Delta, an external supplier, and has the identification number BML 162 099/3 R1A printed on the socket face, along with "made in Thailand by Delta".
The charger has been included with the following Sony Ericsson phone models in the United Kingdom: T68i, T300, T310, T610 and a number of Bluetooth handsfree and other Sony Ericsson accessories.
The charger has also been sold separately..."

Well guys,
Bought it! I am still trying to get used to the functions as I am used to the Nokia. Nice phone and features. Just bought it and have yet to find a fault. I think this would be the best phone at the moment.
PS: What cables do I need to upload themes, pictures etc to the phone ?

To the person below me..
Use your brains when commenting..
Notebooks and Flat Display uses TFT because they have alot of power (Flat Display connected to the plug and laptop very powerful batteries).
While TFT on the phone is a different case.. look at Samsung TFT phones...
1 day battery life... some even less.. same goes to some LG and so fort..
STN's advantage is that it uses less energy, thus giving longer battery life for the product. Some STN can be v.bright while others just terrible. T610 on one hand has a very good STN display. Bright and vivid. Had seen it next to a Samsung (the one with the automatic flip). Differences not that big.
Disadvantage would be it refreshes slower. Meaning if the image changes, there will be a faint trail following it as it takes a longer while to replace the old image with the newone. Also, ghosting tends to happen more often.

TFT tends to be brighter ... WOW. Why do you think ALL Displays in Notebooks and Flat Displays are TFT ??? Better, brighter, sharper ... STN is cheap, but old technology.
