If they are "Better", then tell me.. why can't they EVEN make a proper messaging system?... Come on.. admit it... Samsung only throws technology in just like Nokia only throwing design. Even the 8210 and maybe 3210 also has the ability to learn words in it's T9. Also, Samsungs has this bad habbit of splitting words up if it doesn't fit in a line and moving the rest down.

Do not go for the V200 at all. Yes, you can argue it has a better camera and better screen. Polyphonic, that phone can play more instruments and louder. I have both the T610 and V200. The reason why I chose the T610 is because you do not have limit on the songs you can have on it. V200 is limited to about 10-15 user uploaded... don't think it reaches 15.
Also, messaging on the V200 is terrible. Words gets split up if it doesn't fit on one line. Stupid when every other phone knows how to move the WHOLE word to the next line. Also, hadling of i-report isn't too good. Just like nokia, it floods your inbox. And from what I remember, there isn't a 'Delete All' in the V200. Also, the T9 in the V200 can't learn new words neither can it auto caps for you. To add symbols and stuff, it's very very hard. You have to keep scrolling through menus, and when you accidently miss it, you'll have to go all the way again. Battery life is bad, but then, 2 batteries are provided, so no complain.
No MMS, poor Java support. Screen nice, but it heats up too fast. You want to compare polyphonice, go to

and look for a post there. Someone uploaded some poly tones played with the T610. It sounds very much better than any phone i've heard. Even the V200.

It's only stopping CDMA you moron. It doesn't mean it's going to lose. And IF SE does LOSE, they will only do so in terms of PROFIT. That is GOOD for Nokia as they have no competitors and it's GOOD as MORONS like yourself can keep BUYING their phone. But it's bad for hardcore Nokia fans who really wants to see them getting better as considering that Nokia has no competitors, they can just slack all they want.
And when you want to place link a site, do it properly. Your link is bad.

Or buy the SX-1 from Siemens. It has all (no TFT but a TFD, better than a STN).
Expand the built in 24MB Memory with a 128 MB SMC Card.
Put JAVA Games, Applications, Pictures or MP3 on this Card. Or record MP3.
Record videos (
Or put Symbian (7650)applications on it.
FM Radio.
Shortly: All you ever need !

If only the 2mb memory is replaced with a bigger memory or has the option of using MMC cards, Screen changed to TFT Screen, And replace the current camera with a zoomable camera, It will be flawless.....

I had a lot of phones,i work in a phone(mobile) repair shop.I had all brands: Nokia,Alcatel,Samsung,Ericsson,Sony-Ericsson,Siemens,Sagem,Panasonic,Motorola but i have to say that i had this T610 for 3weeks now.It seems a good phone but i had to send ir back for an error at the speakerphone. Then i heard that all the first released series from T610 had that problem from the factory. But man if u are a well known brand like SE how the f..k can u release a phone whit a error like that.Until now I think that just Siemens had from me the first place for making mobile phones and some Motorola models but Nokia and Sony-Ericsson seems that can`t release a phone model that is perfectly good.So i have now the Siemens M55 and it`s a lot better than S-eT610 even if it doesn`t have bluetooth and irda interface.Go Siemens from now i will buy just Siemens and Motorola phones.

Just bought one yesterday.I had Nokia 7650 before but due to the bulkiness of Nokia I switch to Ericsson.Camera wise, I think Nokia is at the edge .Memory wise also Nokia is 4MB ,Ericsson is only 2MB.Then when I tried to figure out how to use the Vibration mode, this gave me a lot of problems at first. It's not well documented though I tried to follow the instructions by the book still it didn't work.Until i found one accessories (button like)which I slot in behind the phone which I think is related to the vibration mode and suddenly ,it works. It's not mentioned in the manual or maybe I'm just too excited about my new phone!
But generally it's fine even in other functions compared to Nokia. And I found the GPRS speed improved a lot.
