i want to have this cellphone but its too expensive..cant afford it too bad for me.... i wish someone could give me this phone as a present on my birthday!

IF i browse web for over an hour on 3g talk for about 7 minutes of call then about 11 minutes of call,,send recieve 20 txts and about an hour of music and its battery makes funny low battery noise..if you disable 3g and a bit easier of stuff it will last the day..

I have not installed the games yet, but now want update my vivaz. Do I need to take backup all the files, including the contacts, music, pictures and game applications?
Also suggest me how to transfer music and pictures to my vivaz using pc. I have Media Go, but I cant add all my songs from my pc to media go.
Please someone help me in this issue

i like the design and size of this phone and would have bought it except the price is a little steep, there is no secondary camera for video calling, its not capacitive screen so you need to bring the stylus sometime and finally the font is too small.

worst phone I have ever had battery only lasts one day had two new batteries in three weeks still goes flat never again will I have a sony phone

[deleted post]Yep, is available in South Africa. Expect to pay about R5000 on prepaid. On contract from Cell C I paid in R1000. Got mine at Autopage Cellular. Enjoy.

i want to try to connect my new vivaz to my pc through sony ericsson pc suite. the pc suite demands hotfix through microsoft. as my windows xp is not genuine i can not download it . any solution????
also my new phone has hanged quite several times in the first day particularly during running media files. i am afraid is there any problem with the device

my vivaz
when recording and then play back it stall and kind off slow in the first 5 sec and some of my video it stall in the mid of the video for 5 sec or more!!!!!!!!

Did u buy your Vivaz free or locked with any company?
If it is free, it should show u new firmware.
If it isn't free, you have to replace your company software with the free version software.
Mine was locked to Vodafon and I had the same firmware as u, so i replaced Vodafon's software and then the new firmware appeared. Replace the software does not mean unlock the phone. My Vivaz is still locked to Vodafon but it hasn't got any programs, acces points or pictures of Vodafon. Hope u understand me.

I found that the sound quality is very good and luckily have no issues with it like some unfortunates. the querty keypay is dead handy topo and unlike some touch screen phones its dead easy to tap each individual key on the screen when texting or that

I followed the instructions and now I have it installed on my Vivaz and working. Thanks a lot!!
Only have two little problems. I want to change language to spanish, but there is not any place in the menu where i can do that. Is it possible?
And the other one, the voices (i downloaded the spanish one) are extremely low. I can't hear them unless i put my hear next to the speaker. I don't know why. U have this problem with your Vivaz and ovi maps?
