I used Sony Ericsson Update Service. You can download this program from the oficial Sony Ericsson web.
And, this is important, if u have it alredy installed on your pc, uninstall it, download again and reinstall. Its cause the previous version of this program does not detect the new firmware.

hi ppl.., i do hope to ask vivaz battery can maintain how long time? mine geh only bout 3 days i think.., which wif bout 2 hours on phone call... izzit?? coz as i read those function which show.., it state can hold for 430h??? izzit possible??

The unit that I have doesn't have that problem, I know about three person on this location with the Vivaz and they don't have that problem either. Volume indoor and outdoor seems to be fine with the units we have...

About the call volume, i have to say that is a bit low. Indoors u do not have problems to listen to the other person but in outdoors or noisy places it's a bit difficult to hear the other person.
What about you Roar? Do you have call volume problems in outdoors? Here i have checked 3 SE Vivaz and all of them have this little problem. I HOPE sony ericsson will do something about it really soon.

Roar..., 19 May 2010How did you get the firmware update? Mine shows R2AA029...hello roar,
i have REPLACED my company's software (Vodafon) with the free version software.
I did not unlock the phone, the only thing i have done is "clean" my phone from any programs, access points, pictures,... that Vodafon installed in my phone.
After done this, i could install the new firmware.
Here in Europe the last firmware is R2CA024 (13-04-2010).

Ovi maps is a mission to get working properly. But if you follow the instructions on the link i posted earlier it works fine.
People having problems with Reg errors and certificate problems are probably not doing the new reg and certification properly. I had that issue as i was in a rush. Just be patient and do it properly.
