too bad for a Sony product,please DON'T BUY!!!
faulty User interface(screen flickers during unlocking),
instrument overheats, faulty auto-focus for photos n video.... worst phone ever... don't buy for looks alone!!

JUst got the Vivaz (u5, in the UK), no matter what settings I apply I cannot get my desired ringtone to sound whenI have an incoming call. Gone through the process over & over, profiles, personalise etc etc, activate but am still getting that awful sonyericsson ringtone - going mad & so far SE support have been no help - told me to get latest software-when I try to upload it, phone says its the latest s/w. Since then no more support even though I have emailed 3 times since. Network provider so far not much help, read the manual-let me state I am an engineer so come on, I am not dim, first thing I did after I figured out that my settings had not worked! Even downloaded the 'extended manual' to be sure I had all available info.
Anyone else seen this with their Vivaz? now wish I'd got a HTC, still might...

Anybody knows how to restore the contacts from my memory card?
I have already backed them up to it.
I tried also to send my contacts by bluetooth by sending all contacts but failed . It sent one contact only.

What makes this better than nokia 5800 apart from HD video? Is it same/similar interface? Does it suffer freezing/crashing problems typical od S60 phones? Thanks for input.
