          For Shaniz,
Whenever you purchase a brand new electronic device, such as this phone, it is recommended that you charge the rechargable battery up for around about 12 hours to get the battery started - the battery is brand new and should begin its working life with a full charge. If not, it will not be able to perform to its full potential in the future (simply saying, permanent damage may occur if this step is not taken~).

To increase the battery life, I recommend that the above step is taken, and whenever you charge up your phone, I recommend you use the battery up completely, and then charging it for around about 5 hours. This way, your battery will have a longer working life. In addition, to conserve battery life, I recommend going to MENU, SETTINGS, DISPLAY, and BRIGHTNESS, and setting this to 70% or lower. This will let your battery last longer when you are out and about...

          For Maheen,
The sound quality is not great through the built-in speakers, however excellent through the supplied earphones. You should invest in a genuine HPM-70 in-ear earphones - these produce great bass and treble sound. Being a music fanatic, I also custom adjust my equaliser to experience best treble and bass (without the sound quality decreasing). If you want to know my settings, just ask~

Note that the W200 (and most previous WALKMAN phones) have a habit of producing a irritating hissing sound when listening to quieter music. SE has recognised this, but have confirmed that no update will be released to fix this problem... That is my only flaw with this phone...

The W200 currently can support upto 2GB M2 cards (may vary in various countries). But I believe that you need the latest firmware to use the 2GB cards... 2GB will store around 480 songs...

If anyone experiences any bugs, please post it here - SE will be looking through here often (hopefully...).

For Rathu, glad I can help :]

For Alli, the W200 overall is a budget phone. As a result, SE has fitted it with a low-end camera, thus the W200 produces pretty average (or lower than average) photos with its camera. You could try going into a store and test driving the phone there (if possible). I am not sure what you mean by a pink W200. The official colours for W200 are white and black. Some custom (non-official colours) are black-blue, pink, orange, gold, red, green and purple. But I personally don't recommend these since they cannot be considered new (somebody has taken them apart and fitted them with the varying coloured cases). You could buy a new W200, buy a casing for W200, and take these to a phone repair shop and ask for them to do it for you... In this case, I recommend a SE K510. This phone has the exact same chassis (body) as the W200 (but different shaped buttons) but has 1.3 Megapixel camera and good quality screen, and also bluetooth (but doesn't have WALKMAN branded player, radio, and memory slot). The K510 is around about the same price as a W200, so if your going for a phone with good camera capabilities, go for the K510 rather than W200.

For Gidza, the fact that you dropped it in the water means that it is quite possible for anywhere where the speakers rely on in the phone's circutory maybe damaged... As a result, you may have to buy a new phone (don't try fixing it - it will be too expensive)... Or you could continue using it in its current condition...

For Jimmy, themes and applications can be found at www.sonyericsson.com (select your country).

                Hope this helps~ (Merry Christmas~)

I am currently struggling to find a spare K510i LCD screen. I live in New Zealand, and K510 is not available to this country... You can only get it via importers... I am not looking through ebay because there are too many scamsters there... Can anyone tell me where I would be able to get a OEM (Genuine Sony Ericsson) K510 LCD screen in NZ (prefered)?

The W200 supports gif background, supports call blocking (needs network subscription), supports background music, and the ringtone volume is moderate (not the loudest I have heard)...

                                      Hi
                                      I want to know:
1.What is the maximum length of voice can be recorded with this phone?
2.Can .gif files be set 4 background?
                                      3.Is ringtone loud?
4.Can certain callers be blocked?(advanced profile settings available?)
I'm deciding between this and E250.any recommandations?
                                      THNX

                                        For Rathu,
You are talking about the feature called Increasing Alert (or similar, don't remember~). Go to MENU, SETTINGS, SOUND AND ALERTS, and turn OFF the Increasing Alert. And set your volume to max. That should make your ringtone constantly loud... Note that this feature cannot be turned off with alarm - it is a saftey issue (if you are suddenly woken up by a fright (eg loud sound), it can have bad effects on your brain...)

The joystick is the same as the K310, K320, and K510. So yes, this phone is prone to getting its joystick easily damaged... I have not experienced any so far. Whenever there is too much dust in the joystick, I get a fine paint brush and gently get the dust out - using a vacuum cleaner is better...

AND NO, YOU CANNOT ADD BLUETOOTH TO A PHONE WHICH IS NOT PHYSICALLY CAPABLE (Naveen -.-)

Please ask more (valid) questions - I am willing to help~
