The person who noticed that headfones r different than other W series, that is right, in all other W series phone HPM-70 headphones are supplied which are superior in make quality not the sound quality. In this W200 phone they have used HPM-64 headphones, a new innovative technology "Bass Reflex" which produces more penetrating and high quality sound. read this phone review on www.mobile-review.com/review-en.shtml
this site contain full review of this phone and says that W200's headphones produces more higher quality sound than headphone HPM-70 which comes with other W-seriees phones.

hey wht is the difference between UBC and TFT display as this w200 uses UBC but other uses TFT

There is the K510 for people who want a better camera (1.3MP) and bluetooth but don't mind the lack of memory card slot and no radio and lower MP3 Quality for around the same price.
Or if you want RDS radio and memory card, there is the K750 for a slightly higher price.

Got this fone some 2 weeks ago..and the only thing I could tell ya all is that this fone kicks ass. True camera sux, no blurtoth, but if u want a fone with really masrt features, nice design, RDS radio...than this is your fone choice....and c'mon...for 100E it's a bargin....cheers

its price is very high but w700 or w810 are better than this because thave they have high resoltion camera and display and there is no big diffrence in price 03012588524

I'ved got this W200 on Singapore about last Feb 2007.
I think SE Indonesia must much much learn about how to manage the product seriously from other country.
Others outside Indonesia allways launch first. Why SE Indonesia? You don't have any briliant staff to control the product. In Indonesia, SE still busy to sale the old model stock such as K750, W700, W300 or others. Your bad habbit ussually "hold & keep" the stock to make price is high. Finally, the stock was mounting in the wrong time.
It's time for you to change your whole staff from the low until the high positions from the dumb staff to the person that can give you the new inovation, the new market technic and the new good service for the people in Indonesia.
If not, please do not hope you will get a market leader in Indonesia.

1.if i use 1gb memory. will the operations get slower. if yes how much. mention in %
2.wat is the music listening time (if phone is fully charged)
3.is msg counter available
4.which price did u buy ( in INR please)
5.how do u feel with the joystick.
6.is k315 and w200i are close and same
7.is the music options are same as other w series.
8.is it user friendly
9.LG pulse 2600 or w200i, which is best
10.r u satisfied with the w200i

Well if you really want a 100% music phone you can always send a email to Sony Ericsson and tell what you want, if you want to get a 101% music phone go for alcatel ot-e801, it doesn't have bluetooth but at least is ultra-cheap. =).
In my opinion, I like more cam than bluetooth (come on, at least you can take photos, and with any mobile phone cam and you will never reach the quality of a digicam. Cam sensors in mobile phones are too small in all phones (except if the phone is big as an brick XD) and because that a 5mp phone cam will take worse photos than a 5mp true camera.
The price really is high. U$S150, here w300 costs U$S166 only.

its sound quality iz good...bt has no bluetooth n picture quality is damn bad..only sound system is worth..outer appearnce..is good..bt der iz lots of connectivity problem...m nt happy...wid it..acoordin to its price..its nt worth...

hello! can someone here upload his W200's preset/default themes? i saw the themes' pictures in a website's review and i can say that those themes are really great; the themes have flash-animated menu.
please go to myw200.lasyk.net and then create your account there for free before you upload the themes. you can download many themes for your phone from that website, too.

I already have a k790and wanted a cheap walkman phone. i bought this yesterday and am very disappointed. the walkman in this is of bad quality compared to w800,700 etc. really bad . cheap finish too . im changing this asap

I bought this Phone on 20th April 2007. Really the Sound is Great, Superb. I feel its great Mobile for every body. I am sure once you will hear the sound you will forget what the price of this phone was. One is sure that No body can beat Sony Ericsson when Sound Comes as Matter unless JBL or BOSE comes. This phones is for only Music lovers not for the people who looking so many thing in a one phone. Yeh now if you will start comparing this phone with Top Quality IPODs then it would be a mistake after all it is a Mobile phone. Upto 128 MB its operating good but even putting 512MB card full with songs around 550 song its becomes slower in operations. Conclusion is that Great sound through inbuilt Speaker, headphone supplied, Great FM, and Design is Good, Size OK the price (7000 Indian Rupee dated 23 April 2007) is a bit high on Pocket. Sound quality in all aspects is SUPERB. I would like to suggest SE that should not remove this BAD VGA Camera and should provide Bluetooth instead. And if they are still stick to the Price tag they should provide 512MB card with the Set. I feel those People who love Music; will choose this one. And if those who can spend Indian Rupee 15000/- should Go for Sony Ericsson W610i because it has all for every body such as 2MP Cam with Video and Video streaming, All kind of Music file player, Blue tooth, Slim, Good Looking.
