hello! can someone here upload his W200's preset/default themes? i saw the themes' pictures in a website's review and i can say that those themes are really great; the themes have flash-animated menu.
please go to myw200.lasyk.net and then create your account there for free before you upload the themes. you can download many themes for your phone from that website, too.

I already have a k790and wanted a cheap walkman phone. i bought this yesterday and am very disappointed. the walkman in this is of bad quality compared to w800,700 etc. really bad . cheap finish too . im changing this asap

I bought this Phone on 20th April 2007. Really the Sound is Great, Superb. I feel its great Mobile for every body. I am sure once you will hear the sound you will forget what the price of this phone was. One is sure that No body can beat Sony Ericsson when Sound Comes as Matter unless JBL or BOSE comes. This phones is for only Music lovers not for the people who looking so many thing in a one phone. Yeh now if you will start comparing this phone with Top Quality IPODs then it would be a mistake after all it is a Mobile phone. Upto 128 MB its operating good but even putting 512MB card full with songs around 550 song its becomes slower in operations. Conclusion is that Great sound through inbuilt Speaker, headphone supplied, Great FM, and Design is Good, Size OK the price (7000 Indian Rupee dated 23 April 2007) is a bit high on Pocket. Sound quality in all aspects is SUPERB. I would like to suggest SE that should not remove this BAD VGA Camera and should provide Bluetooth instead. And if they are still stick to the Price tag they should provide 512MB card with the Set. I feel those People who love Music; will choose this one. And if those who can spend Indian Rupee 15000/- should Go for Sony Ericsson W610i because it has all for every body such as 2MP Cam with Video and Video streaming, All kind of Music file player, Blue tooth, Slim, Good Looking.

Yes, as with other SE phones it does require the headpfones for the radio because it acts as the antenna.

I will buy only if it comes below 5,500 RS in India...its has only o.3 MP cam, no bluetooth..

I would say Its an great phone but when come to price its should not be more than 130 USD or Indian rupee 5500/-. as in 170 USD range their are lots of other mobiles are available with much more other features.

wait a sec is rs7000+ is a budget phone. oh comon. then wat rs 6000- is called. se u r doing it absolutly wrong. customers r "loyal" to sony but they r not "nuts". i think u know wat to do about w200i.

better go for LG KG200...1.3 MP camera..but no Bluetooth and IR...comapring to this LG KG 200 is best...KG200 costs Rs-6300(INR) & W200 costs Rs-7800(INR)...

One more note:since W200 is mainly a cheap model for music fans who want W model why didn't Sony Ericsson replace the poor VGA cam it has with Bluetooth? I think music fans will care more about Bluetooth than having such a poor cam in their devices.I really would like to see another cheap W in the market with Bluetooth rather than the cam and things will be better if it has at least 256 MB card included.

OK it's very cheap here in Egypt for a W but think about it, no Bluetooth ?! 128 memory card ?! I don't think It's a good choice at all.

I live in New Zealand... RELEASE THE PHONE!!! World-wide it seems to be a nice phone... I want this phone in New Zealand so that I could experience the WALKMAN phone, without damaging my wallet... Release the W200 SE, some New Zealanders want this phone!!! If not, I'll probably buy this from a parallel importer... But they aren't stocking the W200 until next month.....
Apart from that, W200 seems to be a mint phone. Just wondering whether anyone is experiencing any software problems with the W200? If so, what is the nature of the problem?

Though Every thing is Good About this phone but the Price, In India its Price is INR Rs. 7100 /- which I think is really expensive when compared with other rich featyred phones available in Market and thats too at same price even some are having 1.3 MP camera with video, Blue tooth and lots of other features. I hope SE will consider their word "Pocket friendly" "Phone for every one" and will bring down the price arround 5000/- rupee or USD 120/-

Its A Good Mobile ofcourse I were looking for such mobile but if copared with the Price 7800/- INR within same amount there are somany phones are available with lots of other features, I feel it INR Price should be Rs.5000/- i.e. (USD 120)... If it does not get the sale Price tag would be the main reason.

i got this cell for Pak Rs. 8500 = US$ 140.5 damn expensive for a so called budget phone. Anyway value for money, high quality music phone, nokia's 5200 or 5300 are no way near to this one in music quality. Loud & Crisp sound, high quality headphones with bass reflex, FM Radio Rocks, Camera is also good although its VGA but still picture quality is great & better than LG KG 200's pic quality despite of having 1.3 mega pixal. Also features an "update service" which means u can update its firmware as soon as new firmware is available via GPRS. Rest is best also, all traditional phone features are best too, e.g unlimited video recording, call recording, video cam with pause/resume function during capture. Memory card support for upto 1 GB currently but 2GB card would be in markets within a month coz of new micro card is used M2.

SE stop making us fool is it really a budget cell. In pakistan it is worth 9900rs damn expensive and prices wont go down before two months or so...... so don't wait for it and buy another cell phone!!!!!!!
