this phone is marvellous
i have used nokia 6610 and nokia 7710 and nokia 3110 but this set w200i is the best set
but there is only one problem in it. the problem is the joystick
the joystick will not work after 2-3 months if u use it regularly

What brand of M2 card are you using?

I have no idea since I don't use M4A file formats... But yes, from what I know and heard from SE, the 'Failed' or 'Playback Failed' is a known bug with WALKMAN V1. I have not heard from V2 or V3 users who experience this...
My 4GB has done its first playback failed, after 2 weeks of playing music... Quite impressive compared to my 1GB....

Does anyone have issues playing back m4a (128kbps AAC) audio files whereby the W200i reaches the end of a m4a file, and then might refuse to play any other m4a file ?

w200i is A low budget fone with Quality..ive tried to compare it to the 5310 i terms of music and guess what?it kiks 5310's ass..

Its earphone/music was excel... moren70 through power mp3 player+ hpm-70 gives the perfect music infact as comparable to the Megabass... but but megabass is more like a gamble according to me bcoz megabass of w550 is above all music solution so far i have tried. i have the expensive w960, stylish w610 and this little baby w200 where the megabass is not that powerfull. so i think if u get the defective handset then your megabass suffers. thats what has happened with me with w960 and w610 where the megabass is useless whereas megabass of w200 is 50% of w550. am damn sure about my w960 n w610 they really have some problem. so guys if u wanna gamble then u can try your luck otherwise n70 with powermp3 software is great.
