i have little problem with this phone. w200 is not support multitasking function, will be hang when music player(playing with ext.speaker) and opera mini 4.1 working at a same time.
please give me a solution for thats. why this?.
w200 is great in MUSIC side.

ei about the miscall thing you can actually do hold the call and on the battery life in standby time based on the reviews it can last for a week but on heavy usage it can last for 2 days..either watching a movie playing games and listening to your mp3 songs!

you very welcome!its a really good budget phone!if your really into music and style!and does not care about bluetooth too much this ones suits you..and if your still not contented go buy the latest noise cancelling headphones from sony ericsson it will blow you away!
tips:
buy w200i if your into good, i mean really good music
buy nokia 3110 classic if you want a good basic phone with bluetooth 1.3 camera and mp3 player
buy the samsung e250 if you want a ver nice looking slider phone
and its the cheapest among these 2

What's the latest software version of this phone? I have one and it says it runs the latest software-CXC1250720 R4HAA014. Is this the latest software or is there something newer than this? please respond asap. I need it coz whenever I use a high-capacity memory card, like a 512mb card or 1gb, the sound is distorted and the pictures are corrupted. Thanks!

I bought this mobile yesterday.The mobile is
too good.The sound effect is very good.The mobile look is good.Only bluetooth is missing
But for the cost given the mobile is too good.
If you want a good music player
and a good phone and for a reasonable cost then go for W200i.Thanks for all your previous reviews posted here.It was helpful for me to buy W200i.

Having had it a short while these are my opinions on the W200i:
Features that would have made the phone cost no more:
Indication of phone charging by means of led light on the charger or phones keypad lit or flashing or Display dimly lit whilst charging.
Turn phone on and off by keypad (Right shortcut button) instead of fiddly button on top.
Flash Keypad lights when phone ringing either in time to the ringtone/music or just flash on and off.
Beep when missed call or SMS (selectable on or off in menu settings).
Equalizer settings when listening to Radio.
Large window or large Icon (speaker with cross through it) in standby when phone is in silent mode except for small icon at top of screen next to signal bars.
OTA through phone browser to update phone software.
auto time & date update when switch on phone or after removing battery.
Things which would have made phone better but would have more than likely added to the cost:
Bluetooth (goes without saying).
at least 1mpixel camera with LED flash.
at least 1gb memory card included by SE.

Anyone know if you can 'vibe sync' the keypad lights on this phone to flash to the music of the ringtone when someone calls (like motorola fone) that would be cool!

o yes it is small but dude..it is deadly..the camera?hey did you know that it can realy get a 1.3 megapixel resolution..the one i have is interpolated to 1.3 megs..seeing it on the pc the camera on this phone is good..the difference is it only has noise compared to the original 1.3 megapixel..and hey what do you expect from a small budget phone?a large video screen?..

Reyr Philippines, 20 Aug 2008o yes its a bit annoying but hey do nokia have that kind of... moreI had a samsung phone with a flashing blue light on missed calls battery lasted ages - I had a Motorola which 'beeped' on missed calls and I believe the Nokia 6300 has flashing lights at the sides when missed calls. - It is possible so why don't all manufacturers put the facility there.
- They would most probably claim it shortens the battery standby if so put a feature in the menu to turn the feature off as well as on. Simple.
But yes you are right the music player on the phone is very good. camera pretty bad quality and video quality too small.

o yes its a bit annoying but hey do nokia have that kind of feature?and do samsung does have that?hehehe..W200i is one of the best budget..i mean not 1..its the best budget music phone around if your looking for good music you will be blown out..and about the ubc and tft screen issue thats rubbish if you can't see the screen while on the sun cover it with your hand like a hat!its that easy!

Good phone only just got it 59.00 Euro with 512mb card(Ireland) so good price loads of features.
One thing that gets me on these phones that, although it must be technical possible, there are no proper missed call/missed SMS message notification in other words a briefly flashing LCD display or keypad flash can hardly run down the battery that much and if it does then they should put an option in the menu for consumer to turn the feature on and off.
I mean as it stands if you have a missed call you just get a silly little arrow at the top of the LCD display which isn't even lit making it very easy not to see missed calls if a distance away from the phone.
Even when you are charging the phone I am sure they could dimly light the LCD Display or flash on the keypad to show that battery is being charged but they don't. Its annoying I think.
